Vips Cancún Zona Hotelera — Restaurant in Cancún

This place is different from any other Vips, and I’ve been to several throughout Mexico. The taste differs substantially from other places, the size is also different for the same price. Came to have dinner at 8 pm: hamburgers weren’t available at all, neither was the combo - and the waiter didn’t even bother to say that first. We just lost some time to choose plates that weren’t even available. The waiter’s face was like I owed him something, like I did something bad to him, but I didn’t know what exactly! The service was awful, as if I made him work. However he didn’t forget to say that the service is not included in the bill: well, obviously he is right - no service, no tip.

At the cash the woman asked me TWICE if I wanted to leave a tip. I said NO twice and she said with hatred “thank you”. Well maybe if your service was any near OK at least, I would have tipped you, but with THAT attitude? No “goodbye, see you, thanks for coming”, nada.

Nah, you may look all sad and angry at me all you want - can’t work with respect and passion, hate your job and your life? not my problem, bother somebody else.

I would have evaded this place, but I just wanted to eat after long day on the beach. Not going back here,...

I don't know what was worse, the customer service, or the food.

It took 30 minutes to get a menu or anybody to even recognize that we existed.

After that, they delivered all the food at different times so everyone started eating at different times.

Then we got milkshakes, which were like water, I'm not sure I've had such a watered down milkshake ever, it had the consistency and taste of sweetened milk that was it.

Then lastly when we got the bill, they refused to let us out the exit! We were there past closing as they close at 7pm which is strange, but they litterally refused to let us exit! This was a 10 minute hassle as they kept making excuses of why we were not allowed to leave out of the same place we came in at, and ended up making us go put a different way that resulted in us needing to walk 10 minutes additional to get where we needed to go, absolutely terrible place. We work like 30 seconds from here and gave it a try to see if it would be a normal lunch spot, never again will we ever eat here after this experience, refusing to let us leave was over the top on top of the poor...

The worst meal from a Vips that I have ever eaten, especially the molletes.The service was the worst, my coffee was cold and Georgina offered to reheat the coffee instead of serving a new one, but she never did it. She took long time to come back to take the order. When we were almost finished eating she came with coffee asking is I want more? And then she realized that she never re heat the old one.,we asked for extra syrup and he twisted his mouth, really very bad service, bad attitude and on top of everything when she brought the bill she “demand” a tip. She only took the order and we didn't see her again, two different people brought the service and picked up dishes, by the way we had to ask another person for the bill, and after that she demand a tip? Really?when we were paying she called a co worker to say that we weren't going to leave a tip and she told her to put zero.then. I can’t believe that the place still open they are remodeling...
