The new manager is awesome. She unfortunately was given the job of managing a place that has been neglected for years. There are quirky things about the place. Like there is no sign identifying it. You just walk until there is only this place left. Go through a wood fence gate and there is the lobby. I was there in February so the pool was too cold to use. They were having a problem with the septic tank. Well you can imagine what that means. There are maybe 10 rooms. No gym or sauna. The restaurant below is very good. The bar is pricey. You are at the dock for the ferry to Isla Mujeres which is very convenient. If the pool was warm it would have been a great place to sit in the water and just enjoy the ocean. I would bet if you had dinner next door you could convince the waitress/waiter to hand you more drinks from the restaurant to the pool. My room was the only one at pool side. Which was like my own personal space. Also you are so close to the beach they can't keep the sand off of the steps. Overall I'm not sure I would stay there again. The price would have to be right. If I was going to catch the ferry to Isla Mujeres and needed a last minute crash pad. This might be it.

Based on the price and the location, La Palma is an excellent option for those who don’t want an all inclusive hotel or premium price, but want to be close to the stunning beach, the nightlife and easy access around Cancun. * There is a pool which is facing the beach. * The air conditioning is good * There is a bar and restaurant which is potentially a bit expensive but very convenient. * The nightclubs are a few minutes walk away. * Supermarket is a few minutes walk away. * More restaurants are a few minutes walk away. So even though it may not be the highest quality hotel in the area, it is maybe one of the best value for money hotels if you consider the cost and convenience. Cleanliness could be improved, but this did not affect my stay. The bed and bathroom were clean enough. I would stay here again for sure.

Don't expect too much. CONS: The Hotel is place in the back of a bar so if the bar stays open until late you'll have loud music all night. There's no airport shuttle, you need to book it and it's about $40 to the airport The manager is nice but don't expect to get anything fixed and there's no one around at night. The air conditioner was leaking water and we used some vases to hold the water. The sync only had hot water. The view was OK but to have a little privacy we had to have the curtains always closed. There's no fridge on the room you need to share a small one with the rest of the guests on the little coffee area No hair dryer and the pool was very dirty PROS: The ferry to Isla Mujeres is right there Close to everything at the Zona Hotelera

My recent stay at La Palma Beachfront Hotel & Club Nautico was truly unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the stunning beachfront location and the warm hospitality of the staff.

The hotel itself is a hidden gem, nestled right on the pristine sandy beach. The breathtaking views of the ocean were simply mesmerizing, and I couldn't help but spend hours basking in the sun and enjoying the gentle sea breeze.

The accommodations at La Palma were comfortable and well-appointed. My room was spacious, clean, and had a charming coastal vibe. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep each night.

The hotel's amenities were exceptional. The Club Nautico offered a range of water activities, from kayaking to paddleboarding, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the beauty of the ocean. The beachfront pool was also a fantastic spot to relax and unwind.

What truly stood out during my stay was the personalized service provided by the staff. They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was perfect. Whether it was providing recommendations for local attractions or assisting with any requests, their genuine care and attention made me feel like a valued guest.

The on-site restaurant at La Palma served delicious meals with a focus on fresh seafood. The dining experience was exceptional, with attentive service and a delightful ambiance overlooking the ocean.

If you're looking for a peaceful and idyllic beachfront getaway, I highly recommend La Palma Beachfront Hotel & Club Nautico. The beautiful location, comfortable accommodations, and exceptional service make it a true paradise. I can't wait to return for another...

I stayed at La Palma while on a 5 day vacation with my mom. Overall, I loved it! There’s some pros and cons but I would come back and stay here again.||Pros: |-the hotel is beachfront, you can walk barefoot from your room to the beach. |- it’s small (only 8 rooms) so you get to know the staff pretty well.|-it’s safe|-every room is newly renovated and beautiful|-the staff is very attentive (The first night our shower actually clogged but they fixed it right away)|- cheap compared to all the other hotels in the area|-my mom and I shared a king size bed (to save on costs) and never bothered us one bit|-the hotel is right next to the Wegmans-like upscale but inexpensive supermarket which we went to often, xcaret for excursions and also right next to the pier where you can take a ferry to Cozumel/Isla Mujeres|-surrounded by good restaurants|-the owner is very friendly and helpful 150% of the time|-they take both US dollars and Pesos and credit cards|-they give you free coupons for some free drinks upon arrival and you can also redeem them in Restaurante Mocambo on site |-we read reviews about it being loud at night (only the first night- saturday night- did we need ear plugs)||Cons: |-not every room has a safe and/or refrigerator, and we definitely needed both during our stay.|-the shower head squirts water everywhere except directly on you so it’s just something that needs to be replaced...
