Wings Army Cancún Zona Hotelera — Restaurant in Cancún

The only reason we are rating it 1 star was because the food was good (yet overpriced), but the service was terrible! Walked in and there was only 1 other couple in there - not a word was spoken to us we were simply handed menus and were expected to seat ourselves (which is fine but they could at least say hola!). When it came to order we had only looked at the menu for a couple of minutes, and were still clearly looking before the waiter came over and stood next to our table - again didn't speak just stood there until we started ordering! THE WORST PART!! When the time came to pay, we took ourselves to the bar as no one had approached us since our food arrived. When we saw the bill (for all of 5 seconds before he hurriedly took it back!) we thought it seemed high - they had added an extra 100 pesos as a tip without asking us, stapling over the initial cost!!!!!!!!! They did not show us the card machine as we paid and were reluctant to give us our receipt, and this explains why!! We would have left a tip either way, but significantly smaller due to our lack of service - just think it is incredibly rude to just add it without letting us know! won't be coming...

When it was time for me to pay my bill, the waiter swiped my card and tipped himself 25%. I was never given the machine to enter a tip. I always tip 20% so it’s his loss. When I told him I did not authorize that amount, he went into his backpack behind the bar and gave me back what he stole from me. Then obviously didn’t receive a tip at all. Do better hiring staff, that’s just grimy. Definitely...

BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR CARD CHARGES!!! We just came from there. I had 7 wings with fries and my wife a sandwich with fries and 2 sprites. The waiter charged me $673 pesos plus $195 pesos that he added for the tip. I asked if $673 included tip and he said yes. He added about $10 US dollars on his own WITHOUT my consent. When I went to claim this to him, he gave me only $95 pesos back....
