I came back as I realized I didn’t leave reviews on this amazing cafe I visited in January. This cafe is an absolute gem in San Cristobal. The coffee from their own family owned farm was absolutely delicious. Balanced flavors with chocolaty and earthy taste with a hint of fruitiness. Super fresh (harvested only a couple of weeks ago and roasted a day before), organically grown, and never over roasted. I wish I got to know this cafe before I had to try other cafes (I’ve been looking for cafes with oat milk and they finally had it too!) so I could have come back every day. Alejandro was so passionate about coffee. I had such a lovely conversation with him about coffee, Mexico, and Korea, making me feel like I got a local friend. He is one of few locals who actually grew up and live there, trying to keep the local culture while an influx of external money are dominating this lovely town. I guarantee this cafe will make your memory in San Cristobal special. 매우 추천합니다, 꼭 여기서 커피 마셔요! + Bonus: Their own distilled coffee liquor and chocolate are also delicious. The coffee beans are so reasonably priced, compared to these middle distributors with above American prices for tourists. I could fit only 1kg/2.2lbs in my luggage, which I have been enjoying for weeks now. I saw several locals come here to buy beans, which is a good sign!

I was introduced to their coffee back on march when I visited San Cristobal de las casas and I felt in love with their coffee. I live in Rosarito Baja California Norte so I decided to order coffee online. The transaction was really smooth, I used my paypal account to transfer money without using my bank account, since it's safer and within a week I had my coffee delivered in Tijuana. I ordered 5 kilos and 2 chocolates (so good) of course in less than 2 days I ended with one kilo since my sisters and mom loved it too, I guess I'm ordering more soon. The price is so cheap compared to another organic local roasters in Rosarito and San Diego and you can taste the quality. I drink simple black coffee but I'm really picky. I only had a small hiccup with estafeta but it was fix really easy, i would recommend to keep checking just in case more info is needed. Alfonso was always able to answer any question, his customer service is the best. Be aware that after trying this coffee you are never going to be able to go back to your old coffee. Be aware...your house is going to smell like coffee even before you open the box so there is no way you are going to be able to hide it from sisters. Thank you for the present I'm going to take it to work.

Alejandro was amazing. He gave my friend a great coffee tasting experience. He even made sure I had a drink even though I do not drink coffee or alcohol. Alejandro was sweet enough to make me a hot chocolate from the local cacao beans. Alejandro was really friendly and explained what life is like in San Cristobal. Highly recommend Cafe Ka.

Alejandro and his coffee is AMAZING! If you are looking to try organic local-grown coffee, this is the place. Alejandro explained all about their coffee, how they grow it, roast it and let us taste a fresh cup and chocolate they make themselves. This is a family run business and they make it all themselves. Including growing and roasting the beans, coffee liquor and chocolate. It is not a cafe, they do not serve coffee but only sale coffee beans, or they will grind it on the spot for you. Very...
