Xocol-Na Chocolate & Churros Cafeteria — Restaurant in Chiapas

Best Churros in town, always with sugar and cinnamon and then more to choose from (chocolate, cajeta etc) for only 30 pesos for 7! It's amazing, the ladies are super nice and friendly. They also do have their own chocolate (for hot chocolate and ph man it's delicious) for sale, as well as coffee (didn't try) and dark liquid honey that is amazing and very much worth every penny. Love It, absolutely one of my favorite places in town. It's also really comfortable and no one is rushing you, if you don't need much wifi to work I would recommend treating yourself one...

This is a great breakfast place in San Cris. Loved their quesadillas, plus they’re famous for their churros and chocolate - for good reason. It’s a cozy place, perfect for relaxing and enjoying a meal. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with some small touches like their locally handcrafted mugs.

The only con was their inconsistent hours - twice, we tried to go when they were supposed to be open, but they weren’t. I would definitely recommend it, just have a Plan B option in case they’re closed when...

A hot chocolate before going to bed - hmm delicious. I had the Traditional hot chocolate with 65% cacao, white sugar* and a little cinnamon mixed with water. It was delicious.

They also serve it with milk but they didn’t have vegetable milk.

Price was 40 MXN. I went just before 9pm on a Sunday night and it was empty but music was very good and waiter was up for a chat about cacao farming and chocolate production :-)

They do have free wifi.

*brown sugar would be even better...
