Wow.... Good wine, starting at 80p a glass, up to £55 a bottle. Free tapas with every order. The tapas menu is also incredible value, bruscetta starting at 20p, up to cold cuts plate for £5. We had a focaccia with Serrano ham, cheese and fresh vegetables for £2.50 and it fed us both. The staff speak excellent English and Spanish and keep the free popcorn coming. All the customers are friendly, the venue is dog friendly, they take cards... I don't have a bad word to say about this place. It does miss the sun late afternoon, but it's so warm you don't notice it.

There’s an extensive wine menu from across the world. The local wine starts at around 30pesos per glass. They have filtered water available by the glass upon request. Part of the charm of the bar is you get a tapas item with each glass of wine. Ours we had a small slice of baguette with cheese. They also provided unlimited popcorn for the table. The staff are very friendly and helpful with suggestions on what to order. There’s a patio in the front which is perfect for people watching on the busy street. There’s also a small back patio for smoking.

This place may have the single best wine list I have seen at any bar in all of Mexico (and I have been traveling in Mexico collectively for over a year). One of the very few bars you can find Prosecco by the glass, other than high end restaurants. Plus for every glass of wine you order you get a free piece of Tapas. To add to this it is inexpensive. You will notice that often the surrounding bar patios are empty and theirs is packed, this is for a reason. Stopped in for a drink nearly every day of my 8 day visit. Go!

Prices for everyone which is probably why the locals like it as much as the tourists. You can spend just $1US and get a glass of Spanish wine and a free tapa-- or be a wine snob and order an expensive bottle (there's beer and a food menu too). It's also a place where you can go by yourself (as a female, I really appreciate this) and be perfectly comfortable. If you want to be alone fine- if you want to meet people, it's easy...and the staff are friendly too. If you're staying awhile-- make friends with the staff! The free tapas can be hit or miss, but I notice that when I go with a local who is a regular-- the tapas are the best. Coincidence? Who cares, I'm not usually much of a bar person, but this is a place I enjoy. I love their choice of music and the ability to have a frugal night out with my local friends. Oh yeah, don't expect tapas like you had in Madrid or San Sebastián (pinxtos). These are the real thing. The original tapas were just a slice of bread with a smear of something savory-- a simple vegetable capanata or a thin slice of salami with a drizzle of herbed oil. If you want dinner-- order it... don't complain about...

I rated the food a 4 but it is good. I rarely give 5 stars for food that is not gourmet level. Just so you know that there is nothing wrong with the food. However, the big standout for us were the great service. Diana was very nice and attentive and always there when we needed her. The vibe of this place was excellent! It has communal tables which is a great way to meet other people, which appeared to us to be mostly locals. We speak Spanish but one of our table mates spoke very clear English to us, so I think non-Spanish speakers would have no problem here. It is a cozy place, filled with interesting, cool people, great music (classic rock when we were there) and just an all around place to have a good time. It was a packed so I assume it is a very popular place. We will...

Nice front patio and great for inexpensive glasses of wine but we thought this was highly overrated and didn’t enjoy the tapas. Because we had our pooch we had to sit on a tiny patio in back with the smokers, which was fine as we often give up comfort for our pooch. But the bread and free tapas were disappointing. Honestly had they just toasted the bread would have made the world of difference. It was not great bread to begin with and being untoasted made it feel very cheap, like plain white sandwich bread. We also paid for a cheese plate and the selection was dismal, and again soft white...
