Pizzería y Terraza Rivabella — Restaurant in Chiapas

Food: Really good. Surprisingly so given its location in Sant Cristobal. It was a proper Napoli style pizza and house red was also decent.

Service: Great. The waiter was really attentive and, given the restaurant was empty when we arrived, they gave us a choice of whether to keep the music on or to turn off the sports on the TV.

Ambience: It was pretty quiet when we arrived but that shouldn't put your off given how good the pizza is.

Price: This is a holiday review so I'm not qualified to judge this by local standards but as a Londoner it's great value.

Would visit: If, like me, you've been backpacking through Mexico and you fancy a break from Mexican food everyday (as amazing as it is) then I would definitely recommend...

If anyone recommends a pizza place in Chiapas and it’s not Rivabella, don’t listen to them! The pizza here is amazing, it doesn’t entice you with being super fancy, it’s just simple, incredibly delicious pizza. The dough is light and fluffy, the marinara was saucy and the tomato to herb ratio was 🤌 I had the Diavola (with extra mushrooms, peppers and red onions) which was delicious. The highlight was Angel who was so smiley, fun, friendly and nice. Also, the habanero and olive oil salsa…insane. I’m coming back. 11/10....

This place would stand out in Europe or Italy as one of the really good places to have pizza :)) Such a pleasent surprise....amazing dough...perfect consistency and quality ingeedients. And they can customize it ... Order carefully taken and you got exactly what you ordered... Very clean and really cant say anything was missing or not really nice or good quality...
