Restaurante/bar El Gallo Pinto — Restaurant in Chiapas

Thats the first time i entered a bar and felt like i was a local coming into that place. Really inviting atmosphere, the food was in the top 10 of dishes i had in Mexico, especially the pork soup which Tico especially warmed up for us again after the kitchen was already closed. In general, Tico is the best bartender I met so far, unfortunately the Gin Tonic he made me was so good that I cannot go back to drinking Gin Tonics at other places. He and his wife have a really warm and pleasant energy. Prices are reasonable for the portions of food and drinks you get, well worth the money.

10/10, would recommend dropping by and drinking a few beers/vine and have a nicely prepared meal.

On a side note, in the bar there is a vintage store aswell, which is the first vintage store i actually found something worth buying. I got 3 Jackets and im more than happy to have found them there. Its actual good vintage quality and the guy who runs this shop, Fresco, has a really good vibe too! Thanks for the jackets, Fresco, appreciate it!

This little bar is special. It's a family run business, and the owners made us feel so incredibly welcome here. The food here is absolutely fantastic, and the vibes are awesome. Sat/Sundays, they have live music, and it's the best time out while we were in San Cristobal. They also brew their own beers, mezcal, and pox for that real authentic experience. The food here is amazing and great value for money, I have to recommend you try "chifrijo." El Gallo Pinto has a very nice menu of Costa Rican dishes prepared with love and attention.
