This is such a beautiful little coffee spot. I’m giving 3 stars due to the lack of service and the rude attitude given by Jimena for simply letting her know that the service we received was not taken into consideration and was shrugged off with no care. They forgot to make our coffees and I had to ask for them to be prepared after we already had finished with our meal. About 30 minutes before they closed I had asked if I could have another latte and was told no because they were closed, I accepted it. They didn’t bother checking on us at all but decided to bring the bill 15 minutes before they closed and basically told us they are closing so we need to pay. I’m leaving a review because what would have been an all around very enjoyable experience just really went down hill after we ordered. Hopefully our next time in won’t...
Read moreI don’t know why I end up coming back to this place, other than I like location and easy street parking. The food really needs improving. The tzatziki was almost good, but if using dill it’s important that you don’t destroy a dish with it. The chilaquiles torta was made using a stodgy bun, the torta offered very little, too many beans and not enough of the actual chips and salsa (perhaps you should research La Patrona’s torta offering). The salad had zero dressing. The place was not busy, but service was slow…. The juices are great. I can see that you’re trying to produce healthier dishes but they’re just bland and not exciting. If you’re going for a healthier cuisine in Ensenada you’ve got to research harder. Add in more Mediterranean flavours, think outside of...
Read moreI am in love! This place is the perfect neighborhood coffee shop and eatery. Parking is plentiful, the menu is well-crafted, and the coffee was the best I’ve had so far in Ensenada. I could easily be here daily. They’re pet friendly, there are so many cute well thought-out details, and the staff are largely bilingual and incredibly kind and helpful. There is a tiny little patio on one side with a great scenic view of the colorful Ensenada hillside, it’s the best place to sit! The chocolate Guinness cake was soooo good, I’m still thinking about it a...
