Restaurante Michoacan — Restaurant in Ensenada

I ordered the breakfast house special: chile rellano, some quesadilla, with a home-made flour tortilla, a bit of super tender birria, with very rich consomme, & 2 eggs OM, cooked to perfection. Yolk was still runny, but the whites were completely cooked. Of course, they gave me a side of warm tortillas too.

In addition, my server was very kind & helped me with my Spanish! Just a really sweet server. My only gripe is that they are closed more often than not when i stop by!

Maybe expensive for Mexican standards, but super cheap compared to California ‼️ 💯 will visit again.

Unfortunately, this time our experience dining in was not good. We arrived at 11:00 am and were not served until 12:15! Meanwhile, 3 groups that arrived after us were served -our group was 3 people. When our food arrived, one of the plates was completely cold except for the eggs. We had to send it back and it took the server another 15 minutes to bring it back. I was treating two family members there for breakfast and they were very disappointed. Food is usually flavorful and served within a reasonable time, but not this visit. I love this place. It’s one of the best restaurants in Ensenada. Whenever we bring guests here they love it too.
