Omakase Restaurante — Restaurant in Ensenada

I've lived all over the world and eaten ramen in many countries across the Americas and Asia. I've never had anything called tonkotsu that was this bland. We got one with regular ramen noodles and one with rice noodles. They were both totally saltless and there was no salt on the table. It seemed like an ingredient was missing but they said otherwise

They also like most places in Mexico overcook the eggs, but it's not totally opaque yellow like some places. I would say 3/5 on the egg and 2/5 on the broth, which would have been underwhelming but tolerable if they had put seasoning and it was warmer

The sushi is certainly not worth trying just based on the ratio of pressed rice (not fluffy or sticky looking like normal sushi rice, even if it turns out to be seasoned). It's also not featuring any of the typical wonderful variety of local seafood for some reason.

Whoever the head chef is needs to watch a YouTube video and read the recipe (speaking as a former chef/cook/caterer). Chishu pork is fine, but that's really it. It also needs proper toppings

Otherwise, it's a really cool environment, music, and cool people working, and feels like a shame that I don't want to go back.

Very disappointed on the service…. Since a while back I wanted to try this place…. And the reason was because I seen the chef fron the back of street, I really saw his dedication and focus on his cooking…. Though to my self it was good. But today I decided to give it a try, after standing in front of the host for a few minutes…. While he was on his phone and watching videos on the computer he finally told us to sit anywhere. Another waiter ask if we wanted drinks… and 25 minutes later my drink was not ready…. Or even had taken our order. I hope they step up their game, I left the restaurant and paid for the drink that they decided to handle it to my in a to go cup since they had just finished…. El concepto es muy interesante, la comida es regular, básicamente vas por la pura experiencia de un restaurante de banda, la verdad solo recomendaría ir a este lugar una vez, solo para quitar la espina por que como ya mencione antes, la comida no es nada del otro mundo, hay muchos mejores lugares para comer comida japonesa, este lugar naturalmente no tiene mucho que ofrecer en el tema de servicio al comensal… pero aun así fallaron rotundamente en ese aspecto y a eso debe la baja calificación, arribamos al lugar y ni siquiera un bienvenidos ni nada, nos sentamos en una banquita que tienen en la entrada, aceptando nuestro destino de que ninguna mesera notaba nuestra presencia, pasan al rededor de 7-10 minutos y por fin se nos aproxima lo que parecer ser una mesera y solo nos pregunto si ya nos atendieron, respondimos que no, nos informo los lugares disponibles y nos sentó, empezamos a tomar alimentos de la banda y me percate de que al parecer en la banda no hay bebidas solo soju (bebida alcohólica) y en ningún momento nos informaron que no había bebidas en la banda ni mucho menos nos ofrecieron bebidas tuve que preguntar cual era el asunto con las bebidas y ya nos proporcionaron un menú de bebidas, ya una vez terminada nuestra comida, procedí a pedir la cuenta y la mesera me dijo que si, en un momento, pasaron aproximadamente unos 7-10 minutos y no vi que nuestra mesera tuviera intenciones de traer la cuenta por lo que lo tuve que hacer nuevamente a otra mesera y muy rápido ya nos dio nuestra cuenta, de verdad que quedé impactado que un lugar con tan poca necesidad de servicio al cliente lo hiciera tan pésimo, no volvería ni de chiste, ya vivi el concepto del lugar,...
