Las Cuatro Puertas — Restaurant in Guanajuato

Ordered a plain bagel with a coffee... Got served a heavily cheese smothered bagel instead. I don't consume cheese and asked them to please replace it with a plain one. They did not have anything but the heavily smothered in cheese bagel. I drank my coffee and asked for the bill. Got charged with a water which i did not order and the bagel that i never touched. When i asked them to remove these items they said they would not as it has been served to me. I told them no way was i going to pay for these items. He called the manager who agreed i should pay and i said no, call the police. I was told they didn't have time to call the police but they had time to dispute with me... I said i wasn't leaving until they did call... He finally said fine,. I paid for my coffee and he threatened me saying i was not ever allowed back in again. Really? You really think i...

I would really really love to enjoy this place. We've been here 3 times now but every time there was something bad. The first time they burned the pizza, the second time the pasta was raw, and we thought "Just a small mistake, for sure it will be better the next time." The taste of the food was not bad after all... Yesterday we went again. The chicken in the pasta pesto was raw. But most importantly: There was a feather (!!!) in the pasta! Now, I'm not an expert nor a chef, but I'm pretty sure that feathers have no business being in a kitchen, even less so in a dish. How, Cuatro Puertas? You could be the most amazing place! El lugar es pequeño, bonito, agradable y acogedor. El servicio deja mucho que desear, tardan demasiado en servir los alimentos (40 mins en servir el primer platillo) y en distintos tiempos a cada comensal, cuando ordenas te sirven otra cosa porque no están atentos,si ordenas chilaquiles no los esperes bañados en salsa porque aquí acostumbran solo salpicarlos, pedimos 3 órdenes de chilaquiles verdes y sola una de ellas traía salsa, los otros dos platos traían totopos básicamente, cuando expusimos al mesero la situación nos comentó que se les acabó la salsa verde hubiera agradecido me lo hicieran saber cuándo estaban preparando o antes para cambiar de platillo, cuando llegamos ordenamos naranjada y ya no había, luego limonada y ya poco había, eran apenas las 10:30, pedimos un affogato y tampoco tenían helado de vainilla para elaborarlo. El mesero que nos atendió no prestaba mucha atención a nuestra mesa, ordenamos un frappé de moka blanco y otro obscuro y nos sirvieron los 2 obscuros, de un momento a otro el mesero se desapareció y terminó atendiéndonos la cajera a quien expusimos las anomalías, al final nos ofreció un descuento, el cual agradezco pero hubiera preferido comer a gusto y lo que yo ordené. Cabe mencionar que otras 2 mesas se quejaron de la lentitud del servicio de cocina así como de la barra, el barista amablemente les indicó que se comunicaran con el dueño.
