Limoncito Breakfast — Restaurant in Isla Holbox

Lovely little breakfast place, recommended by locals. It can get very busy, very fast. We went there 3-4 times very early in the morning, at 8am which is their opening time, so we found a table right away but it got full in a blink of an eye. We tried their Chillaquiles Divorciados, the Enfrijoladas, Detox juice, iced green tea and strawberry milkshake. The filter coffee is OK as well. The prices are fair and they take card payments as well -assuming WiFi is working -we had no issues. The location is very central, right opposite the basketball/volleyball court (which doubles as a market on Sundays!), and the taxi rank, which means its a relatively busy road. Best breakfast on Holbox - the only place we visited more than once as it was just that good. Epic motuleños with a house made habanero salsa were a favourite but everything we tried was excellent including chilaquiles and rancheros. Eggs were fresh and perfectly cooked. Hmmm what a lovely Mexican breakfast we had here! A must try: chilaquiles. Eggs with fresh tortillas, a green or red sauce, some cheese/sour cream and bean paste. Every breakfast comes with a cold tea and fresh coffee cup. Very very nice food, and the place was full of local families.
