TERRIBLE. My stomach hurts from the anxiety of such awful food and money wasted. Worst queso fundido Ive ever had. chorizo had ZERO flavor and bad texture, the cheese was not good, I have no idea what type of cheese it was... I could barely eat it, and I just threw it all away (what you see in the picture was thrown away.) The flour tortillas it came with were also awful, had that store bought taste. i wish they would have asked because i prefer corn. Guacamole was NOT good at all, also no flavor, and the tortilla chips were very stale (barely gave us any, too.) Cebollitas were good and thats all I could eat so thankfully i didnt starve... My son had to put salsa in the rice because he said it didn't taste like anything and his burrito was weird... I thought there were black beans in it but there were only vegetables. What a complete disappointment. I wish I could go back in time and not pick this restaurant. We ordered to go so I couldn't complain to them.
Gosh I just read all the positive reviews... THIS is the best restaurant in Holbox!?!? We have 3 days left here... 🫤 now im scared to try anything else. we went to Bah Bah and THAT was AMAZING but expensive. I honestly can't stop thinking about how terrible the food was here. I can't sleep...

We then ordered a variety of tacos and shrimp quesadillas. Sadly, both were very underwhelming – lacking seasoning and depth of flavor, and certainly not what we would expect from authentic Mexican cuisine.
After that, we tried the horchata. Unfortunately, it was far too sweet and tasted mainly of condensed milk and vanilla, without the distinctive rice and cinnamon flavors that make a horchata special.
Overall, we don’t really understand the hype. While the staff was polite, the food simply didn’t deliver and felt far from authentic...
Read moreRibeye was dry and overcooked. Slow service. Coconut shrimp was forgotten and then overcooked with no sauce provided (never have had coco shrimp served without a sauce). Wrong order given to someone at our table and they ate without noticing because we were so hungry, and the order was cold. Asked for mezcal for my birthday and the waiter said they had none… and then later they did, somehow, which was nice. Guacamole was basically avocado and cilantro, and with the portion they gave 4 chips and then almost charged us for more.
Atmosphere is chill Mexico beach vibes. Honestly, would not return here. But the prices are...
