Returning visitors all the way from Minnesota! We originally stumbled on this place by accident in 2021 when it was Maderas and loved it so much we sought it out when we returned last week. It was everything and more than we remembered..Both times my husband got the Mickety Mac with smashed potatoes (best potatoes I’ve honestly ever tried anywhere) and I get the tuna poke bowl. My kids got the tuna burger. It’s off the beaten path like some of the best spots on this island which is no problem if you have a golf cart. After lunch the owner came out and showed my kids how to feed sliced potatoes to the iguanas which was a highlight of the entire trip for them. Travelers from Cincinnati, Ohio. Do yourself a favor, get out of the tourist district and treat yourself to a real meal!!!!! Food crafted with knowledge and passion. My wife orders the pork chop… I don’t even like pork chops… the waitress recommended… it came out with impeccable presentation, thicker than a steak, seared with some real ‘island char’ and love… the juiciest most tender cut of meat I have eaten in years, and we are foodie people! The food here really is excellent. We sat down just before noon when the restaurant opens and had a nice table in the shade. The patio IMMEDIATELY filled up at noon with people waiting. Seemed to be primarily American’s, probably drawn in by the burgers on the menu. *note it is CASH ONLY

We ordered hibiscus margaritas, shrimp lettuce bits, SOP Burger (standard operating procedure) and a pike rice bowl. Everything was delicious!! Our lunch ended up being about $60 USD but portions were nice and we left full and happy.
