Sonny’s Pizza Parlor was an absolute highlight of our trip. After days of amazing but rich Mexican food, this pizza was the perfect comfort meal. It hit the spot and was easily some of the best pizza we’ve had in a while.
We got a half-and-half pizza, pepperoni on one side and mushrooms on the other, and it was hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The crust had that perfect crispiness while still being soft inside, and the toppings were just right.
What really made this place stand out was the owner and staff, we had the chance to chat with them, and you can tell they truly take pride in their food and making sure customers have a great experience. The vibe here is laid-back and welcoming, with both indoor and outdoor seating.
Another bonus is that it’s not on the crazy busy shopping street, so parking was much easier compared to other places in the area. They also have a small bar with plenty of drink options, making it a great spot to hang out.

Read moreMy wife and I visited Sonny's on 12/15/21. It was a nice place to grab a pizza in a place where you don't find a lot of pizza. The meatballs were pretty good but a bit soft for my taste. The balsamic was a nice touch. The jalapeno margarita was tasty, nicely spiced and a bit smokey. We also ordered the lobster pizza which, in my opinion, is very overrated. Aside from the fact that it did not have enough lobster to make it the star of the show, it had too much sauce, WAY too much cheese, and the crust was a bit tough and thick for my taste which made it difficult to get through more than a slice. Sonny is a nice guy. He visited all of the customers that evening while we were there and if I'm ever on the island again I would give the place another try and order some...
Read moreWas reccomended by a friend and it didn't dissapoint. When someone says its the best pizza they have had in their 60 years of life those are some damn strong claims. So i had to see what all the hub-hub was about. I'll say it was damn close if not the best. I think the secret was in the crust and the perfect sauce , which i suppose goes without being said.
Here's the deal - its a 40 USD pizza if you get one of the " special " ones. We got the one with Gorgonzola and " wild" mushrooms that were supposed to be Crimini , Shitake, etc. It just wasn't. It was regular mushrooms. And most certainly not " double " anything. so just get the plain pizzaas , thats my personal opinion and what i'll do...
