This is a wide but short beach, some shade but not a lot of places to sit and doesn't seem like enough space to just leave stuff and get in the water, even though a few people did. For me I'd leave my stuff in the hotel next time and not bring any bags or anything. There's a resort on the water with the bridge going in the water, you can go under the bridge to get to more of the beach as well. There's also an abandoned restaurant and some rocks, Lots of fish so a good...

Perfect beach for young kids. The breakers don't make it into this bay, and there's enough rock and subaquatic vegetation to support a decent diversity of aquatic life. If you rent some snorkel gear from SeaHawk divers (right down the block) you can see a good variety of fish, which is much rarer now than 30+ years ago... For an added treat, you can walk southward along the beach to some large rock outcroppings and scramble down to check out the...

This is one of my favorite places on planet Earth. Our young kids loved the calm water. We had a wonderful time snorkeling and seeing the variety of fish. We were able to find a place with palm tree shade on the beach, which was great for our little ones. This is the one place I would absolutely come back to see the next time I'm in the...

Stunning beach! Not so many tourists, lots of sun and space! Definitely one of the best public beaches on Isla Mujeres. If you have your snorkeling gear with you, it is definitely worth going to the west end of the beach and exploring the water there- we have seen so many species of fish, from tiny to huge tropical ones!

Great little spot not as crowded the times that I've visited with super calm waters and the beach seemed to be well kept the times I've been here, I hope they continue doing so. There is lots of marine life to see when snorkeling around here too, there are many rocks around too so be careful when exploring.
