We braved a long stretch of PVR traffic for vegan food, and my wife picked this little spot tucked away in a residential neighborhood. When we arrived, it was quiet—no other guests, kids a bit cranky, and my expectations modest. We ended up ordering…well, almost everything on the menu: fries, tamal, six kinds of tacos (adults’ pick), two shakes, a pizza, guac.

And here’s the surprise: we ate it all.

The pizza was the biggest shock—it didn’t look like much when it came out, but it was outstanding. The vegan cheese melted under grilled veggies (including nopales) was just perfect. The tacos were equally fantastic. As lifelong vegetarians, we don’t often see much variety, but here we had three different jackfruit preparations, each beautifully seasoned, plus birria, el dorado, and more. Every bite felt like care had gone into it.

Beyond the food, the experience itself was warm and memorable. The staff were incredibly patient with our halting Spanish, and the hospitality felt genuinely personal. The chef/hostess’ daughter ran in and out of the street while we ate, adding to the intimate, family-style feel. No rush, no pretense—just a cozy, loving place that left us completely satisfied, in every sense.
