Dany's Grill PV — Restaurant in Jalisco

Simple food is good food. Found this little gem near Costco. Owner Dany was clearly proud of his food. He patiently explain the different cuts and even take the meat out from the fridge to show us it’s freshness, open the package in front of us, cut to the weight and put it on the grill. He recommended a cut which is not on the menu for 350 pesos per pound, grilled it to perfection and served it with grilled onion, jalapeño, cactus, chorizo, quesadilla, beans and tortillas. There was a chipotle sauce and avocado sauce for dipping. The meat was tender but still has the bite to it. Not overly seasoned like a lot of restaurants so you can actually taste the flavour of the meat. So far the best BBQ I have tasted around Puerto Vallarta. Fantastic ribeye tacos and quesadillas. Guacamole was good too. Reminded me a little bit of a fancy California taco. My girlfriend had chuleta/pork chop and it was also fairly juicy. It's a little off our usual path but this will probably be one of our go-to nice taco places. Not much more expensive than arrachera, actually the prices are quite good considering it's ribeye. I think it was $35 for a ribeye taco and $65 for a ribeye quesadilla, on the smaller side, but still great. Add a little guacamole, lemon and salsa de chili arbol and a cerveza and your set!
