Gabistro Versalles — Restaurant in Jalisco

The atmosphere is very nice but the food and service were terrible. Ordered a coffee and it was cold and weak. Asked for milk for the coffee and it took almost 10 minutes. The second cup was much better, actually hot coffee and it seemed to be stronger, only for the third cup to be cold again. Something as simple as coffee was inconsistent. The other beverages looked nice. The food was extremely bland. I ordered eggs over easy and was served eggs that were extremely overcooked. I sent them back only to recieve eggs that were better, but still cooked hard. We had a group of 9 people and recieved one basket of bread for the table. 2 of the 9 dishes were served well before the others, to the point that one person finsihed their meal before the others were even served. Once dish was completely wrong, serving enchaladas as opposed to chiliquiles. But was quickly corrected. (again their food was overcooked and seemed to be microwaved) They only took a couple bites before ignoring the dish. Servers were friendly but service itself was extremely slow and lacking. I would not recommend going there...

The waiter was very attentive but it helped that I spoke Spanish. He didn't speak very much English but had menús in English. The pasta 🍝 was good as was the calamari and drinks. The others in my group ordered the seared (it says sealed) tuna. Other than the mistakes on the English menu this place was great. We found this little gym hidden under some apartments in Versalles. The drinks were strong and delicious. The service was amazing and the food was really good. We will be back for sure.
