La Boca Parrilla Rustica — Restaurant in Jalisco

Have been here six times in the last few months. More than any restaurant in Guadalajara. Why because the food is usually good. However, this past Wednesday I went and ordered a vacío. Again not disappointed until someone cleaning the table behind me sprayed me with table cleanser! It landed on my left arm and possibly my food. The place was not busy. I called the manager over and wrote out in Google translator what happened. Shockingly she only said she would speak to the table cleaner. I explained that I thought it might have landed in my food. Having had the privilege of eating steak in Buenas Aires, I have to say this is a very watered-down and imitated experience. The steak was unremarkably average but not horrendous. The mashed potato side dish was straight from a children’s ice cream scoop and was just about warm. The main issue is that the place lacks any ambience. It’s like sitting in a repurposed car dealership that’s had the Chevrolets removed and tables added, all of this with out-of-genre ‘Katy Perry’ and ‘Ed Sheeran’ booming out the sound system. El lugar me encanta. La comida es buenísima y me gusta que el lugar tiene buena luz. Esta vez comimos vacío, choripán y 2 rusas con agua mineral… La carne es suave, jugosa y con bastante sabor y siempre me habla de una buena atención a la calidad y sabor cuando usan exprimen los limones al momento. Me encantaría que ofrecieran la salsa criolla. Con el servicio te entregan un pan delicioso con mantequilla, una propuesta sería que tuviesen un pan que fuese libre de lactosa y de masa madre para los intolerantes como yo.

El servicio es muy bueno también, los meseros son atentos y siempre están pendientes de todo. A mi en lo personal me gusta el servicio donde el mesero no esta todo el tiempo preguntándote si todo esta bien o si necesito algo más (se que no todo mundo opina lo mismo). Aparecen cuando es necesario o les llamas.

El único pero que le pongo, y es un PERO, es la música. No sé qué les pasó con la selección, pero es fatal. Es como si hubieran puesto el playlist de covers de pop generico. En vez de una selección de música con un ambiente más sofisticado o quizás hasta sin musica es mejor.
