So happy we found a place for board games in Puerto Vallarta! This was a great place to spend Valentine's Day. The food was delicious and served quickly. We had the smoothies, mango and passion fruit, Nacho plate, Sampler platter, Caesar salad, a mojito and limonade and finished the night with strawberry and oreo milkshakes. The service was wonderful even when it got busy on a Friday night. We did not need help with the games we chose (Splendor dual, Lord of the Rings Dual, Wondering Tower, Calico) but one waiter was perfectly bilingual and offered to explain games upon request. They have a great selection of games for most age groups over 8 years old. Many games are in English but not all are. They have small and large tables to accommodate different size groups. Reservations are possible and should be considered on busy nights. At the time of our visit, the cover charge was 100 pesos per person for 3 hours or 150 pesos for unlimited time. The cover charge is waived if you spend at least that amount on food or beverage. We spent about 5 hours and spent about 1000 pesos for two people. A lot more than the average person but it was date night and Valentine's Day. I would visit again anytime and highly...
Read moreI met new friends there to play Settlers of Catan and enjoy ourselves in an atmosphere that really encourages the guests to not feel out of place shouting in excitement when you win your game whatever game is your pleasure! There is a $140 minimum per person. They have a menu of great sharable snacks such as edamame, guacamole dip, and french fries with cheese on top. Beer is available as well as the usual soda, water, and tea options. The whole place was very well lit and clean with an attentive and friendly staff ready to get your order into the kitchen and out to you quick while you stay in the game with your friends! Great place for first dates, meeting up as a group, and for an alternative to the more traditional bar for those adults who like to do more than drink and play pool or cards. Highly recommend...
Read moreThey had every game you can think of. My partner and I went for date night and had so much fun. I love that you get to try out new games before you’d buy them. I’d say 50% are in Spanish and the other are in English, but either way the staff can teach you how to play any of them. We only had a few drinks and waffles but the waffles were delicious, definitely the best I’ve had in town. The staff are friendly just a little busy so you will be waiting a bit. It can also get kind of loud when it’s busy, but it was so nice seeing so many families and friends having so much fun together. It’s $140 pesos minimum spend per person, not sure...
