This restaurant is a total rip off. We paid US$28 for two pathetic drinks, and two plates of a horrible sashimi, the portion of tuna was hilarious, very small plates and really high prices, The service was horrible, there is a waiter called Daniel that was the worst waiter I’ve ever know, my wife had a bag underneath the table and this waiter just grabbed it and moved it onto a seat without asking for permission to touch my belongings, and he didn’t offer me any drinks or water, just wanted me to order food as he wanted us out as soon as possible, we asked to have a talk with the manager and the man behind the cashier care the less and just wanted to see the back of us, they act as if they are the customers I recently made this account just to write this review because I believe this people and restaurant truly need to be exposed, unfortunately it left a bad taste in my mouth. This restaurant is very overpriced for what you get, they have a rude, awful and carefree service. Don’t go here, never! Please close for the better of us the tourists it’s an ugly stain on the beautiful...

I went with high expectations based on reviews I’ve read. The menu sounded very creative and so i finally went tonight to see for myself. I took a pata salada friend with me who loves ceviche. I started off with a cucumber basil gin and tonic that was delicious and pretty to look at. Unfortunately, that was the best part of my meal. I had the Thai ceviche which was tasty but was mostly slivered red onions and cucumber with two shrimp. I also ordered the Divine, which was anything but divine. It was so salty that neither of us could eat it. When asked if we wanted it to go, I mentioned it was too salty to eat, so no thanks. No apology or effort to make it right was offered. Honestly, with all the great ceviche in Puerto Vallarta, I see no reason to return, except maybe for a drink and the Yelapa pie I saw on the menu.

Update: I gave this place a second try and it was much better than...

The place is clean , the flavor is good and service is fine, but my review is regarding the quantity quality for the price , i ordered a cachetona mixed octopus , fish and shrimp , they charged me more because the original is just shrimp , but also it was much more avocado than anything , they were very cheap on the seafood , there was barely any pieces of seafood , for 425 pesos , i know is all about the cost but being cheap and deceive the client with just avocado and little to nothing seafood is not right , do not be so cheap, no reason to comeback for just a good guacamole , if you are selling seafood please add enough for the client to find it, don’t try to fill it up with avocado and pepino , i did not go to order a guacamole , i wanted a...

Save this if you need restaurant recommendations for Sayulita, Puerto Vallarta, and San Pancho. If you’re a huge Mexican foodie that’s been to places like Mexico City, Puebla, Oaxaca, or your family cooks amazing, lower your expectations for the more popular “traditional” dishes. 😅 Stick to ceviche, aguachile, and modern Mexican seafood dishes. Puerto Vallarta: Lamara, Pulqueria Chinga Quedito, the churros guy, and mariscos Cisneros. Order the tacos de jaiba which are crab “tacos” but more like an enchilada since they’re drenched in a delicious shrimp sauce. Sayulita: Barracuda Sayulita, the sopes de pulpo 🐙 were amazing. Aguachile and the tuna tartare were delish and can’t go wrong ordering a cocktail. Casa del Chile Relleno: order the shrimp stuffed chile relleno with a passion fruit juice. El Itacate: steak tacos and jamaica quesadilla. Birria Paty or tacos al pastor Díaz for some street tacos. San Pancho: la Perla for aguachile & cocktails on the beach. Limbo: pricey but omg the huitlacoche tacos were to diiiie for. Jamaica tacos were awesome as well. #visitsayulita #travelmexico #mexicanadventure #sayulita #sayulitarestaurant #womenwhotravel #travelingwomen #travelgirlsgo #journeysofgirls #solofemaletravel #femmetravels #globetrottergirl #sayulitalife #sanpancho #nayaritmexico

Went for a quick lunch as I wanted to see why it rates as high as it does. Looks like this is a dinner place as most in Versalles, so you have the place pretty much to yourself and a few people at lunch. Very impressive tuna sashimi ceviche and very tasty tuna tostada as well. Good service, nice presentation, good fresh tasty food. This spot excels at seafood, particularly ceviches, tostadas, and tacos, with unique flavor combinations that enhance the freshness of the ingredients. The Paracas tostada is a must-try, and I also enjoyed the Pervano and Pina tostadas. While the restaurant’s appearance is unassuming, the quality of the food is outstanding.
