Las Brazzas — Restaurant in Jalisco

Beware of the no menu operation and verbal pricing. I passed this place multiple times and finally decided to have a lunch there. The owner gave the menu verbally which consisted of fajita plates, quesadillas, nachos with a choice of chicken or shrimp and guacamole. I asked how much it was as I had limited cash on me and cards were not accepted, owner said $75. Fair enough for a small hole in a wall place with a limited menu. We got two chicken fajita plates and a beer for my companion. Food was good and I was thinking to come back for dinner as it was close to my place. The check came, and instead of $185 that I was expecting, it was a $333 bill. When I asked why it was almost double, I was told I was wrong about the price. I would no stay there and argue about the price since there was no even printed menu to go off. The owner made a quick buck but lost a customer who would have otherwise come back. While food was good, I would not recommend a business that is being dishonest with...

Love this wonderful and laidback restaurant on Isla Cuale, right across the street from our apartment. The BEST margaritas we've had in PV since being here a month now. We also devoured the chips and guac. We're going back tonight for margs and to try more food. We also enjoyed the company of all the meandering, sweet cats. Daily visits could definitely become a recurring habit for us during our stay in the northern part of Zona Romantica. Thanks Jorge for the wonderful experience!! ...

We expected more for the reviews. We waited a while but were never given menus. The gentleman serving us eventually came by and said we could order quesadillas. What we received were 6" tortillas with a scattering of filling, not at all a meal. We expected far more based on the reviews. The food was tastey, but I would not recommend this place if you're looking for a solid meal...
