Exel was our server. We waited too long for our drinks so I had to remind him about the drinks. The food was mediocre, rice was hard and cold. The beans were just warmish but they were getting bad (acid flavor) my entrée looked okay but no flavor. When the check came, I immediately gave Exel my credit card to pay and he immediately told me that he forgot to include a beer (70 pesos). I looked at the check and noticed that he was right so I told him to add it to the check and add 15% for his service. He gave me the total and pay for it. When I got to my hotel, I look at my receipt and noticed that he had added the price of the beer (70 pesos) to his tip became 145 pesos (30% tip). I can’t prove your establishment is his act but I tell tell you the type of people you hire to run your business. I’m an executive chef in Los Angeles so I’m in the hospitality business. I will make sure to write a review on a site accessible to Mexican nationals so they know the type of...

Dirty Cutlery, Mediocre Food

I hope you can solve the problem you have with the cutlery, because they are really disgusting and the tables are the same. It seems like they cleaned the tables and the cutlery with the same cloth, they even felt a bit sticky.

This is not just my imagination or a coincidence, since I asked for them to be changed and they came back just as dirty.

I invite you to see for yourselves when you go and observe the cutlery that you put in your mouth along with your food.

Another thing, the mixed drinks are very heavily loaded with alcohol.

As for the food, it is average. More than one tourist will leave without being hungry, but surely won't come back, as is my case.

In addition to this, a lot of people bother you asking for money or singing, many children come and insist on being given money. I understand that these people...

Good location, mediocre food, slow service and terrible coffee. Pros: - Central location right in front of the main cathedral. The tables are in the open air which adds a nice vibe. Cons: - Coffee was probably the worst we've had in all of Mexico (we've tried ~16 places across Mexico city, Guanajuato and Guadalajara). We ordered cortados and got something extremely bitter with a bunch of foam on top (one of the coffees also had something weird and yellow). - Extremely slow service. They looked understaffed and our server would disappear for a while after each contact. They also got one order wrong and had to fix it 10 minutes after the first order arrived. - Food was very mediocre. No real taste in there. - Prices were not too expensive, but definitely on the higher side (especially given the food quality).

This is the universal restaurant that sits on the town square that you know you are paying for the view over the food. The food here was a B+ Everything is beautifully presented in a way that is suitable for tourists. But definitely not overpriced. The views are spectacular. The weather in January was unbelievable! Truly the most comfortable weather ever. The seafood ceviche was bland. The pork in the torta ahogada was delicious!
