This is what I call "Too expensive for what is offered".
I went on my vacation, attracted at first by the live music, I entered the restaurant and it took them a while to serve us because next to us, there was a table with tourists who the waiters were exclusively attending to every second. Maybe ten minutes to serve us drinks (simple carbonated water) and half an hour to forty minutes to get our food. Once we finished, we felt that they chased us away, bringing us the bill as quickly as they could and insisting too much on leaving the tip only to the waiters (not the cashier or bartender).
One of the waiters seemed overly friendly, but he yelled at one of his young coworkers and I definitely didn't like that.
The food is average. Mashed potatoes too salty. The bill for four simple drinks, guacamole, four dishes and an ice cream was $1800 mx.
I actually didn't want to look closely at the total + tip because I was upset. The only thing that is worth it is the view of the sea and the friendly singer who is there. For the same price there are many other...
Read moreAbsolutely gorgeous right off the beach we had fresh food and an absolutely gorgeous view. There was a lady walking on the beach that provided a service of braiding my daughters hair away from the table. I had an absolutely amazing margarita, heavy pour. Completely authentic margarita made from scratch with the exception of the tequila. The pico de gallo was fresh and amazing and then we ordered ceviche which was awesome flavorful, the perfect amount of spices and the seafood was perfect inside of it. My daughter and I ate absolutely all of it. It was nice because my son was able to play under the table with the sand once done eating. It wasn’t super hot although it was in March because of the breeze from the ocean. The service was just absolutely amazing they had a performance there, so it had perfect entertainment, my kids loved it. It probably was our favorite place to eat in Puerto Valarta just an overall...
Read moreFirst restaurant when you get to the Malecon. Nice location, we were seated by the beach with tables in the sand. Service was quick and the food my goodness was so good. We ordered Shrimp cooked in garlic butter with rice and veggies 180 pesos. So tasty. And Christof ordered Whole fish red snapper 180 pesos, huge fish I had to help him finish it. The fish was perfectly cooked. He had a Corona to drink for 25 pesos and I had a bowl of mojito for 110 pesos which was very worth-it. Try not to order the happy hour drinks as it’s got less alcohol content on it, it’s like drinking juice. Aways remember what you ordered and the price so you’ll have an idea of the total bill. During our first visit, we totalled our bill before we asked for it and it didn’t match when we got it. So we asked our server to correct it. Highly recommended, all in all I would give this restaurant an...
