I was looking forward to tonights dinner at Nuevo Laredo restaurant. It was goat/lamb cooked in the same way they do in Chile... cooked on a rack over an open flame, tender, juicy, fantastic! Unfortunately what i got was a dry, unseasoned, overcooked, animal that was on it deathbed from starvation before it got butchered 😔. No meat on them bones. Excellent white tablecloth restaurant with suit wearing waiters, but with very good prices. Specialty of the house is Cabrito (goat) prepared in different ways. My leg cut came with only lettuce and tomato salad and beans. This is a MEAT restaurant. They also have beef cuts, too. My meal, including one beer cost the equivalent of $14.00.
