The menu is extensive in terms of real deal Yucatan cuisine. We started with the Crema de Chile Xkatik soup, a creamy soup with the native Chile. We enjoyed the Tacos de Cochinita, tortilla with grilled dogfish and Queso de Relleno de Izamal. The flan and tres leches cake were the perfect ending to an enjoyable lunch.

Demasiados detalles como para un restaurante de esta categoría en una zona con turismo internacional: -La comida tiene variaciones que no corresponden a la comida yucateca. -El servicio, a pesar de que no habíamos más de 8 personas, fue demasiado lento. -Pedí una segunda bebida y de plano nunca la trajeron. -Una pareja sentada a lado de nosotros de plano se tuvo que parar a buscar sus cubiertos porque nunca se los llevaron. -La porción con respecto al precio es demasiado pequeña. Lo único que puedo rescatar es la amabilidad de los meseros.

It is NOT any more Los Almendros!!! The name is El Regional. They said it is the same menu. I tried the pollo pibil, it was good BUT I asked what pieces of the chicken were in my dish? They said chicken leg and thigh, but the bones were really weird and a lot of small bones, I was nervous of having an accident swallowing one of them. A lot of little little bones. That was weird. I recommend the buffet in this restaurant, they have a huge variety of options. They have sushi, seafood, meat, pasta, paella, and a lot of delicious desserts. You only pay $390 for the breakfast (7am 12pm) and $475 pesos at lunch (1pm - 5pm). Don't miss to try this...
