Starbucks Paseo Montejo — Restaurant in Mérida

ESP Me pareció un trato un poco discriminatorio para el grupo con el que acudí a starbucks ya que fuimos en un grupo de 6, nos preguntaron si íbamos juntas y como íbamos a ordenar l, comentábamos que íbamos juntas pero ordenaríamos por separado y nos hicieron salir y solo nos permitieron la entrada como si fuéramos por separado, cosa que por la pandemia es entendible. Sin embargo dejaron pasar a personas extranjeras antes que a nosotras que habíamos llegado antes y dejaban pasar a familias enteras de 4-5 personas evidentemente extranjeras sin decirles que solo se quedará uno a ordenar como nos hicieron a nosotras al momento de esperar el pedido únicamente nos quedamos tres personas para evitar el acúmulo de gente y nos pidieron retirarnos y que solo se quedara una persona ya que veníamos juntas, no entiendo si cada una pago por separado y fue una orden distinta nos piden que mientas que a las personas extranjeras se les permitía estar juntas dentro del establecimiento aunque sea en una misma orden. Fue un trato lamentable por parte del personal que nos atendió únicamente por ello to no regresaría a dicha sucursal. Le otorgo tres estrellas únicamente por que los productos como siempre mantienen su calidad.

I recently visited the Starbucks located in one of the most touristic areas of Mérida, Yucatán, and I was extremely disappointed. Despite its prime location, the place was shockingly dirty and clearly neglected. Tables were sticky, trash was left on the floors, and the restrooms were in terrible condition. For a café in such a prominent spot, you would expect better standards of cleanliness and maintenance. Go to another Starbucks, this one is shady and rips you off. Charge you for extra shots, extra items but don’t include them. I had a venti caramel macchiato with 3 EXTRA shots and it came out looking and tasting like plain whole milk and sugar. Not the first time this has happened, have politely tried to make staff aware, certainly the last time I will waste my time and money here.
