Bernadette Show Bar on a Friday? Absolute blast! What a way to end our time in Mérida—fun, fabulous, and just the right amount of over-the-top.

The crowd? A mix of young, old, and everything in between. The music? A perfect balance of Spanish and English hits. The food? Delish. Get the ribeye chicharrones and the charcuterie tray—both delicious, both huge (we still had leftovers after three people went at it). The show was two hours of toe-tapping, high-energy entertainment with an intermission. We didn’t roll out until 1 AM!

PROS:

CONS:

❌ No central website for info & reservations. Everything is Instagram and Facebook. ❌ 50% deposit required via international bank transfer—good luck if you don’t have that! ❌ Reservation process = WhatsApp puzzle challenge involving a lot of back and forth. ❌ Cheap seats? Surprise! Obstructed view of the main stage (they do succeed at moving all the performers around between both stages) ❌ Small venue + big speakers = too LOUD ❌ Freezing inside—bring a sweater! ❌ Show starts later than advertised, so no rush to arrive right at 9 Pm..... You've for till a bit after 10

Would we do it again? Absolutely. It was fun, wild, and worth every peso. So…do it...

Llegué con expectativas muy altas y salí un poco decepcionado, empezando por la forma en la que te dan mesa, si llegas con un grupo grande o apalabrando un consumo alto te pueden dar una mesa cerca del escenario principal, sino te acomodan en una parte donde todo se ve parcialmente. La música antes de que comente el show es demasiado alta así que vuelve difícil el poder tener una conversación con tus acompañantes. El show es bueno, y vale la pena la entrada de 500 pesos pero algunos parecen que están entregando su proyecto final de la carrera de teatro y no están al mismo nivel que los otros chicos que también cantan y bailan. Y que lastimosamente está mal calibrado el sonido, ya que a veces se escuchan gritos. Las bebidas son regulares así como la comida y los precios altos. No hay cambio de vestuario después del primer descanso. Honestamente no volvería a invertir en algo así, me salí antes de...

El mejor lugar en la actualidad en Mérida para ver un show musical digno de ver. Montajes de canciones perfecto, es un show que tarda casi 2 horas con intermedio pero vale la pena todo. Cantantes jóvenes profesionales de la mano de la mejor actriz y cantante de comedia musical de nuestro país: Natalia Sosa (la podrás recordar de Mentiras el musical y La Voz México). Se recomienda hablar para separar mesa y de preferencia en el escenario principal porque los cantantes pasean por todo Bernardette y lo hace sumamente interactivo. Ya queremos regresar otra vez y un aplauso por incluir la cultura Drag en el show magistralmente. ¡No se queden...
