I barely make official complaints but this was by far the worst experience in Indian / Pakistani cuisine. Most of the pictures from these reviews are NOT their actual dishes, and I believe this is not right for the community of GMaps users so I have to share my experience.
Their kitchen was a real mess, things everywhere and chaos despite me and my friend were the only people who phisically ordered there (they claimed they had many orders, we only saw 3 dishes taken away).
I ordered 1 curry chicken and 1 garlic naan. Waiting time 40 mins without advance notice. Portions were ridiculously small (see both dishes we ordered in the pic and you can compare the size with the can), they would be fine as starters but definitely not as main dishes. Never seen such a small garlic naan (usually they are wide and long and more than 1). Taste was okay but definitely nothing to do with indian cuisine which is a taste that i love and know very well. I could have done the same by chopping some chicken at home, adding some tomato sauce and some spicy chillies. I’m fine with it but this is not acceptable nor presentable from a professional kitchen. My friend was very happy with the taste of his bbq chicken but still super disappointed with the portion. We both had to eat something else afterwards.
I confronted the manager and was receptive and open for discussion. He offered 50% discount on my order which is honorable and thanks again. For this i’m giving 2 stars otherwise would deserve 0.
Unfortunately many things are not right about this place and i hope the staff manages to turn things around because the potential is there but far from being an authentic and professional indian cuisine.

Read moreMediocre desi food. Came here once at 2 pm only to be told the chef wasn’t there lol. I went across the street to dine at Los sinalosenses (really amazing hole in the wall restaurant btw)
I came a few days later to try the food. Being Pakistani I was kinda disappointed at how bland the food was. The desi food scene in cdmx is pretty pathetic and this place is no different. The only solid desi restaurants in cdmx are aroma curry and Bukhara . I’d avoid this place, service is somewhat slow, food is edible but super bland, I wasn’t a fan. I wouldn’t come back here again, and wouldn’t recommend it to any of my friends.
The sad excuse for a biryani tasted literally like trash. 1.5/10 The chicken karahi again was as pathetic as it gets 1.25/10 The chapli kebab tasted like it was microwaved 1.5/10
My big mistake bringing my girlfriend to this place to show her some desi food. Never again. Aroma curry is by far the best Indian/ desi restaurant in the city A little background, I am a global traveler who has flown to 68 countries and been on 516 flights since 2020 - all in search of great food. I eat out 360 days a year often at a different place each time. This place does not have my endorsement or...
Read moreChanging my overall review to 1 Star, wish I could do zero star, as you can notice after I post my review all the sudden 5 star reviews starting showing. All the reviews are fake I am pretty sure.
This place is overrated if you compare the food quality. We came here to try the food and 95% were disappointed (5% good because of their tea) .We ordered the Naan and never in my life have I seen the Naan that was served. It was a normal roti NOT a Naan but it tasted good. Biryani is not a Biryani that you would expect traditionally, it was made with broken rice more like Chinese rice that you get with few chunks of chicken, At least if they use Basmati rice traditionally used for the Biryani, their version of Biyani could have tested a little better. The Tea was the best I had in a long long time and the lady who was serving us was really nice and friendly, we had a good...
