Super cute and relaxing breakfast spot with great coffee drinks and egg sandwiches!!

We stopped by in the morning to grab a couple of the egg sandwiches they offer on the menu, and found the space inside to be super cute, airy, breezy, and relaxing! It opens out onto the sidewalk and it felt really nice to just hang out there for a bit and soak up the atmosphere.

There was just one lady working, but she was very friendly and had our sandwich orders out very quickly, pipin' hot and all!

I just had the Clara, which was very hearty and delicious. I split it with someone else, as I personally found it big and filling enough to be shared!

We had delicious breakfast at Clara y Ema in Condesa on a Sunday morning. The small place was hopping full, so we sat outside. Whenever I have the chance to have oats for breakfast, I take it, and the oats with bananas were super delicious. The only thing I’d improve is ditching the trendy way to serve it in a jar-always makes it so hard to get to the bottom of it, literally 😘. My partner had a lovely American style breakfast. El servicio es pésimo, llegamos el jueves 13 de julio 2023, el lugar estaba vacío, solo habían dos mesas ocupadas y cuando llegamos las dos señoritas estaban desocupadas y sin voltearnos a ver nos dicen que nos sentemos donde queramos, pasados unos 15 minutos al ver que nadie llegaba y por ser la primera vez que íbamos pensamos que tenías que ir a ordenar al mostrador, llegamos y ordenamos, mis amigas y yo pedimos la oferta de por $50 pesos más el café del día y jugo de naranja.

Llega la comida que tenía buena pinta y cuando probamos el jugo sabía horrible, como cuando la naranja ya está pasada y hasta se sentía ligeramente gasificado, con mucha pena queríamos preguntar si podían cambiarnos el jugo y no podíamos hacerlo ya que pasaban frente a nuestra mesa las dos señoritas y volteaban la cara, nadie se tomó el jugo.

Al levantarnos para ir a pagar (porque otra vez nadie llegaba a nuestra mesa) pude hablar con una de las señoritas para preguntar si habría posibilidad de cambiarnos el jugo que no habíamos tomado ya que sabía extraño y la respuesta tajante fue “si ya hemos tenido problema con el jugo, los clientes se quejan que sabe feo pero así nos lo mandan, el jugo es natural y lo embotellan, no se los podría cambiar porque todos saben igual” se da la vuelta y se va.

Me molesto la actitud de la señorita y al ir a pagar le comento a la otra chica que si ya han tenido problemas con el jugo deberían de advertirle a los clientes antes y ya así uno decide si lo compra o no y no era de esperar que mi comentario le valiera madre, en fin todavía que ni servicio nos dieron pregunta que si queríamos dejar propina.

Pésimo servicio, lastima porque los sándwiches son buenos pero el servicio deja...
