Do not eat here!!! Let’s start from the beginning shall we? My cousin and I had to single-handedly arrange the table for my aunt in her wheelchair to fit. The wait staff was literally just staring at us making no effort. Once we sat down our waiter - one of the men who just stared at us - finally came over and introduced himself.

When it came to our food, our appetizer only arrived after with our main course despite us asking for it first. The appetizer came COLD. We ordered a queso fundido which is supposed to be incredibly hot for the cheese to stay melted and easy to pull. Then 2 of our four dishes were cold as well! We had to send it all back. Needless to say the food was terrible.

Our waiter never came back to ask if we wanted more drinks or to check if our re-heated food was better or OK. Then I saw him completely leave.

When paying, I paid with card, and the waitress asked if I wanted to leave a tip. I told her my cousin was covering tip with cash. Then the waitress, who didn’t even serve us, went up to my cousin and asked if he would like to leave more!! The audacity of staff to ask for a bigger tip, much less after the absolutely terrible service and cold food we were served. I just can’t believe it! I highly highly recommend not eating here. Plus they charge US prices for their food that’s served cold and shitty service.

Been coming to Coyoacán for a few years. Always look for places to eat by the main plaza. We sat out front to see the watch people, but you will be bothered by the street vendors insistently.

Service was fast, but that was about the extent of the pluses.

Drinks were weak, asked for simple jack and coke. But the amount was paltry.

We ordered the steak dinner, this was the only dish that was decent. Meat had a good taste and it was a great cut. Sometimes they give you meat with too much nerve or tendons.

We also had the cochinita pibil it was ok. The spices were not overwhelming, if any thing a bit salty and the dish was warm.

My dish was chicken breast wrapped around cheese and laid in a huitlacoche sauce. The chicken was dry, and the sauce did not taste good.

Overall bad experience, never coming back here. There are other places that are...

We had a fantastic early dinner. The wait staff was friendly and attentive we started with a cantarito, a sangria., and the mango agua del día. All of drinks were well balanced and delightful. For appetizers we chose guacamole, queso fundido with chorizo, and a bowl of sopa de tortilla. It just doesn’t get any better. They were delicious. For the main course we tried the seasonal chiles en nogada, the enchiladas suizas, the enfrijoladas, and the carne asada. All of the dishes were well prepared and beautifully presented. It’s hard to imagine the work that went into developing the complex flavors and textures that we enjoyed....

Now you are in Coyoacán, probably you don’t know if you want to get in here or not. And I got some advices: 1. The food is nice, the flavors are not that explosion in your mouth, but they taste good, and the portions are enough. 2. The service is kind of fast, I was there at 3:00 PM and they offered me the menu right away and all the food at a reasonable amount of time. 3. They have a special menu for drinks and cocktails so that’s more points for me. And the overall look of the restaurant is quite the experience. Definitely if you’re still thinking in your meal options the resume is: this is a good one. 🤠
