My new favorite place to go out in Mexico City. I’ll definitely be back for my birthday next month. There was no cover (just 20 pesos if you have a bag to check). There’s multiple levels (a drag show on the rooftop even on a Tuesday night when we went), karaoke on the 2nd floor, and a dance floor with music videos playing Reggaeton and 90’s songs (in English). The staff is clearly busy, but I appreciated that they took the time to walk around and tell people to stop smoking. The only potential downside is the floors are sticky, but you get used to it and the music and vibe were good so I had a great time overall. Highly recommend. There’s bathrooms on every floor.

Edited to add I went back here for my birthday and learned the drag show portion and rooftop terrace ends around 11pm. Karaoke on the 2nd floor ends at 1am. The first floor dancing/club portion closes at 4am (or so we were told by a staff member). Oh and they only serve Tecate beer. Beer and water were...

AMERICANS, YOU NEED TO READ THIS – PERSONAL SAFETY ELEMENT INVOLVED

Last night, I stood in line and was checked by a security guard at the entrance. I showed my ID, but to my astonishment, he asked to inspect my wallet. He went through it and started looking at my credit cards and how much cash I had. Seeing that, I immediately demanded he return my wallet. He then used that as a pretext to deny me entry.

The truth is, they use this tactic to see who’s worth targeting — they report you to gangs that specialize in assaulting patrons.

ONCE THEY SPOT A “GOOD” TARGET, THEY HAVE PLENTY OF TIME TO CALL IT IN WHILE YOU’RE INSIDE THE CLUB. THE ATTACKERS JUST WAIT FOR YOU OUTSIDE.

AVOID THIS DUMP. THE SECURITY STAFF IS CORRUPT. THEY ARE IN WITH ROBBERS AND MUGGERS.

I will report this place to the embassy, and I strongly advise all Americans who experienced the same to do so as well, so that dump can be investigated...

El día de hoy viernes 5 de septiembre entre las 1 y 1:30 am fui víctima y objeto de abuso de poder por parte de sus guardias de seguridad, 3 hombres y una mujer, el jefe de seguridad se hizo llamar Fernando,

Ingrese al baño de mujeres para responder mensajes a mis familiares y como demore en la conversación de WhatsApp con mi familiar, ellos argumentaron que tenia drogas. Y eso es una vil mentira, no consumo ningún tipo de droga. Osea, si tienes problemas estomacales, oh quieres llorar sin que te vean, no puedes demorar en el baño, por que te tratan como delincuente y adicto.

Los de seguridad me rodearearon, me quitaron mi teléfono, mi identificación, me hicieron desvestirme y quitarme el calzado, exponiendome como si fuese una delincuente frente a las personas dentro del establecimiento. Y, hoooo sorpresa no encontraron nada, por que nada tenía.

Me sentí vulnerada y acosada. Y los que de verdad están haciendo de las suyas, vendiendo y consumiendo, ni siquiera los incomodan.

Y el mayor abuso fue por parte de la guardia de seguridad una mujer que me despojo de mi dinero en efectivo, hurto mi dinero si... me robo el efectivo de una forma descarada de mi cartera que traigo en mi teléfono, Pensando que no me daría cuenta.

No dan su nombre, no dejan grabar ni tomar fotos del incidente. Afortunadamente hay personas buenas que me apoyaron en el shoc emocional y lograron tomar foto de la mujer de seguridad que es una ladrona.

Así que me tomo el tiempo de exponer a esa mujer en redes sociales para que tengan cuidado y no vuelvan a pasar por lo mismo que yo pasé.

Es una Pésima experiencia. 🤬🤬🤬

Ya envié un correo a su corporativo, para que dejen de solapar a su deficiente personal de seguridad y hagan algo. Ya que leyendo hay cantidad de reseñas negativas exponiendo a sus empleados que son unos abusivos.

Acudire a instancias legales como PROFECO, para que haya una regulación en ese establecimiento que parece un arrabal, sin ningún tipo de protección a los clientes. Y siguiero a cada persona haga lo mismo! Denuncien, por que de lo contrario ellos se hinchan los bolsillos de lo que roban todos los días.

Y sin duda al dueño del establecimiento le digo, que no pongan a cualquier persona con desequilibrio de respeto, para ejercer una función de seguridad. Mejor inviertan en una mejor capacitación humana y empatíca a su personal, que abusa de su cargo,...
