Pleasantly surprised ! Happened to randomly walk into this place for a late lunch on a Monday afternoon with family. Had noticed colorful lights and music here the previous nights. The place is bright , airy and colorful with light music in the afternoon. The prices for food seemed too good to be true for this location - so happened to check Google reviews about this place while already having ordered a lot of food and drinks. Almost everything mentioned in the reviews was kind of true. Like being offered only one choice of beer, the food portions, being extremely tiny. However, I went in prepared just for a few drinks and some snack, light meals. food portions were perfect for kids. They loved it here.
I think our servers name was Emmanuel / Miguel- a bald fellow, he seem to constantly clean the table taking the plates away, which could be either being obsessed with cleanliness and prompt service or making you feel that he’s working so hard to deserve a high tip. And where credit is due - he was prompt , gave us what we needed, did not mess up the orders - while Being the only guy handling a bunch of tables that evening.
The tip/bill which is most spoken about was true as well. anyways, the printed bill came and luckily it included everything that I ordered so no overpricing there and Emmanuel give me a little Calculator with a different number from the bill saying that’s what I have to pay. Thanks to have read all the reviews I realize that he included a 20% tip in the final amount on the calculator. I simply used Google translate to tell him that I only wish to pay 15% tip, which I normally do, and mentioned the final amount. And he happily accepted without any unpleasantries. Then as a general drill, you have to walk up to the counter with the bill and your credit card, and apparently the owner punches in maybe the code for the waiter who gets the tip while the poor waiter anxiously waits to ensure that the agreed percentage has been keyed into the credit card machine. I think it’s not the fault of the waiters but maybe it’s the motive of the owner of the restaurant to make the servers work hard for their income/tips.

Read moreBeen here a few times and generally like the music and ambience. What spoiled my visit last Saturday was the friendly waiter trying to scam me on the bill and trying to charge double. The bill should have been 138 pesos and he put 270 down and tried to state the tip is 50 pesos on top of that. When i mentioned that each drink is 23 pesos he came back with the correct figure of 138. But after giving 500 cash he decided to give me 20 pesos less for my change thinking i wouldn't realise. Maybe he thought because I'm a foreigner I'd be stupid enough to fall for his tricks. It's frustrating as had he given the correct bill to begin with i would have given him a good tip anyway. Read moreEl año pasado iba por lo menos una vez a las semana, y me gustaba llevar a mis amigos porque me la pasaba muy bien, los meseros eran súper atentos, la hostess muy simpática , los gerentes súper amables, los señores se lo baños ni que decirse lo atentos que son. Hace poco empecé a ir de nuevo y todos cambio para mal, el mesero súper distraído, sin experiencia,(entiendo que nadie nace sabiendo, pero hay que capacitar a la gente), apático, grosero, cero atento, mo mesa se tambaleaba y no la calzó, tuve que pedir ayuda a un Garrotero ( que era de los poco amables y atentos), le pedí una paloma y solo me llevo un refresco de rotonda y lo dejo en la mesa con el tequila, pedimos una cerveza en caguama y solo la destapo, no tuvo la atención de servirla ó al menos preguntar si nos la servía, literal la fue a aventar a la mesa, nos llevó los tacos que pedimos sin salsas, las papas sin catsup. La hostess también súper apática, según te llevaba a tu mesa, pero solo te señalaba con la mano y se iba a la entrada, no pude percibir quienes eran del equipo gerencial, ya que cuando intenté hablar con alguien sobre la actitud del mesero, solo alguien de seguridad (muy amable y atento) fue el que se acercó a mi, le conté lo que estaba pasando con el mesero, fue a decirle a algun genérate ó capitán (no se) y solo el chico de seguridad tuvo la atención de decirme que me cambiarían al mesero, pero ningun staff gerencial se acercó a ver cuál era la situación. Me cambiaron al mesero, si más atento, y amable, pero al final me dice la propina “sugerida” es del 20%. Le dije que yo era una persona que si me atendían bien dejaba el 20%, pero me molesta de sobremanera que me “sugieran” la propina. Lo único rescatable, fue el Garrotero, el chico se seguridad y el señor de baños barbón (no recuerdo su nombre), pero que, creo es el único de los que lleva rato ahí , incluso me reconoció cuando fui al baño y como siempre haciendo bien su trabajo.
