I don't know if it was the rain that day, or what, but the meseros were more interested in socializing with each other than with the customers. 6 of them bunched up at the entrance talking, and people at their tablea waiting. It wasn't just my experience. I looked at 3 other tables and it was the same - they were not attended to as they should have. Assuming the service and attention to customer was a "one off", and it wouldn't repeat this way again, I would come here over and over again. The decor is charming. The tables are a little too close for my taste, but it still allows for a pleasant chat. The terrace is a favorite, even if the chairs are somewhat uncomfortable.
Staff is fine, not especially quick or proactive, but they get the job done.
As for the food: perfectly adequate, rarely exceptional. Pricing is classic Polanco: overpriced, but on par with similar nearby spots. That said, the pizzas are a genuine standout: well-crafted, flavorful, and worth coming back for.

When I arrived the hostess said they don't read the notes nor really work with Google (though they had my reservation) and that they use open table more...ok. So they only had one high chair for us. I mentioned that i had a double stroller as I noted in my reservation and they said it would be an hour wait to be seated outside or i could sit inside and sort out the stroller up some steps.
