If you are in town and are looking a nice cup of joe and the other location closer to the market is crowded (usually it is), this is a great alternative. You get the same quality and presentation without the crowds of downtown. Just grab a chair and don't forget to buy their carrot bread or vanilla bread. If you are lucky enough you will be able to take a quick peek into their storage area which smells amazing :) If you are looking for a great coffee without the hassle of your average cafe and the exorbitant prices, this is the place, you won't be disappointed. Also they have other drinks, if you have kids with you who love hot chocolate.

It is really a shame how a very well known business can let "the help"* destroy the customer service. They don't even speak Spanish language. They are rude, aggressive . If the customer ask for something specific and reply with rude attitude. Like if they were doing you a favor. What a shame . I really don't think the management would be happy how they represent their business.

We got cold Americano and cappuccino. The coffees were delicious and fair-priced. Also, we tried Torta de milanesa and cornbread. Both were delicious and again very good prices. For foreigners, I would highly recommend the tortas, but don't forget to remind them not to add too much salsa. Although it is delicious, it can be hot for people who are not used to it.
