Cigar Point — Restaurant in Mexico City

Came here on a Tuesday night to have a Cuban cigar. Only us and another couple there. No one greeted us, I walked into the humidor myself and the owner came in like I was trying to steal something. I asked for a cigar recommendation and he reluctantly gave me one. We ordered drinks and sat. No music playing nothing. Cuban was about $45 dollars and way over humidified. I noticed he keeps the room at 83(!) which is insane. Should be 64-69 max. They do not cut the cigar for you just hand you a cheap cutter and a cheap torch. My cigar went out several times, this never happened to me before with a good cigar. Cigar was fine, not impressive for a Cuban or the price. Service was efficient but sort of rude. He basically shooed us out right at 11:30. Look for other options. I could forgive everything if the cigar was well kept. He just had a humidifier in there going full blast....

I was disappointed with this place. It is certainly not as classy as the photos might suggest. There were four other customers when I was there on a Saturday afternoon about 16:00, and it seemed to take quite a while to make one cocktail. Additionally, when sitting in the outside area the music from the next-door bar was very loud...and very cheesy. There is a sort of wicker fence & plastic arrangement separating the two bars. Prices are reasonable for beers (60 pesos) and cocktails (150 pesos).

I really wanted to like this place as it looks great and they have a large selection of cigars but the problem I experienced was their cigars are over humidified. I bought a bolivar (over $700) and it had a tight draw and then it bursts with it constantly going out. The manager tried to fix it with a cigar needle but it just cracked the wrapper. The first red flag and I should have left is when I was picking my cigars, I saw small blue mold on some of the Cubans. They have that humidifier in...
