El Bajío Polanco — Restaurant in Mexico City

Today, I experienced the first unpleasant experience in 68 days since I came to Mexico. I arrived at 6 o'clock and was told to come back in 50 minutes (no one else in my group). It was ok because I was staying at a nearby hotel for a long time, and I changed into a dress shirt and arrived on time. I arrived at 6:50 and there were many seats left. I was guided and entered. I was guided to the narrowest seat in the end corner. I asked to change to a 4-person window seat, but the waiter refused. He said it only accommodates 4 people. I felt he is rude. I ordered beer first. I also ordered the menu a little later. (Fried crab meat qusadilla, Lamb Barbacoa) But he didn't think about giving me beer. The waiter in charge only did his job of clearing other tables. I complained to the manager that I asked for beer and chaning a seat, but I was refused. (I am so disappointed you) He also brought me the wrong menu. I ordered 200g of Barbacoa, but they brought me Taco. Another waiter gave me the dessert menu, but no one came to take my order, so I gave up on ordering and just checked out. My husband and I had a plan to come here just for breakfast, but we changed our minds and ordered lunch instead. It was after 10:30 when we got here, and they had already started to serve so.e lunch dishes. This restaurant is fairly large, and they have valet parking and also take reservations. We sat outside on the sidewalk, and there were plenty of tables to choose from. We first ordered two orange juices and a couple of pastries, coanches I believe. Then we placed our lunch orders.. While the server was very flexible in understanding our needs (one vegetarian in our group), the food was below par. Had no flavor plus they messed up one of our order. We ordered an item from the bites section which was brought after we finished main entree. And the item was wrong but they refused to accept that it was wrong item. Because of confusion with English and Spanish, we let it be. They even billed us for wrong item (even though they argued it was a different item as per our order). It was a disappointing experience as the restaurant itself has very lively environment. We ordered couple of fish dish, a chicken and a vegetarian item.
