Came here on my friend’s recommendation (who’s local to CDMX).
Atmosphere: pretty cool vibe with mix of traditional upscale cantina and more hip. We did not do this but Mariachi band goes around and sing for groups upon request.
Service: Orville was our wait staff person and he was very nice and helpful. His cocktail recommendations were amazing.
Drinks: We ordered Mandarin margarita and (don’t remember the name) something 100 años (tequila based). Both were excellent (and the portion was huge!)
Food: Panuchos: just like we had in Yucatan. The habanero salsa was muy muy picante but addictive. May need to hit the bathroom often later but totally worth it.
Bone marrow: pretty good especially with the salsa’s
Pulpo (grilled): a bit overcooked and under-seasoned to our taste but the potatoes were good. Again with amazing salsas, I enjoyed it still (whether I will order it again, not sure as I will surely come back!)
So overall, this was our first dinner ever in CDMX and it was definitely...
Read moreWe had the best experience thanks to the Restaurant Manager Miguel Warner. The food was outstanding, we had the pulpo and tuna tostadas, they were perfection. The service by Miguel started from arrival of our party to the end of the night including every step in between. Martinis and banderitas were fantastic as well as our mixologist Christian (the drinks came with a show) We will be back and we’re bringing friends as an experience this other level should not be kept a secret. I’d steal those two if I could… stay tuned on that front ;)
Btw Ulises Mendez is the man at the bar! Fantastic drinks and a very cool style… the service was amazing. The recommendations were on point and served with great passion and enthusiasm.
We are in Mexico City for 4 days and we came 4 times. When we return to the city, we will return to the bar.
Gracias...

We tried several dishes, including the queso fundido, which was decent, but there were only four small tortillas—definitely not enough. Even after asking three times, no more ever arrived, which made the meal feel incomplete and frustrating.
The patio was crowded, and smoking was allowed, even though it’s directly connected to the bar and restaurant. That really shouldn’t be the case. To make things worse, someone was smoking inside. It’s not the ’80s, and in a packed space, that’s just not acceptable.
The manager was kind enough to comp our drinks, which was appreciated, but overall, this location didn’t live up to the standards of others I’ve visited. I’ll stick to those other spots where the food and service are...
