Eno in Mexico City was truly an amazing experience. It is perfectly situated right next to, or essentially within, Jumex. As someone who frequents museums and their cafes often, I have to say that this one ranks number one in my experience. They offered a great menu that wasn't limited to just pastries. Sometimes, you're craving real food, not just croissants and cookies - give me some meat! I loved that I was able to enjoy tamales from this fantastic little quaint restaurant.
I also appreciated the fact that the restaurant was made out of marble, so even though we were seated outside, it still felt very cool. The huge trees, particularly the Aubrey ficus, were beautiful statement pieces. Another aspect I truly enjoyed was that while there were definitely people around, the tables were spaced far apart, allowing for a comfortable and private dining experience. Additionally, I liked that the tables were spacious.
Overall, I would rate this experience as a perfect 10 out of 10. The food was excellent, the vibe was just right, the aesthetics were on point, and the grapefruit juice was next level. This would definitely be a place I would always visit when I'm at Jumex in...
Read moreThis is a nice outdoor restaurant that is next to museo jumex. It has lots of open air and nice plants. When we came there was only one server though, but I can see he was trying his best and working hard.
I had the chilaquiles with the pollo and it was okay. My boyfriend had the milanese chicken and it came with a very very small size potato salad. It was a bit expensive for the price but I think it was also organic.
We both also had the grapefruit drink but it was warm with no ice.
If you do eat here and need to use the washroom it is a bit of a hassle, because the server has to take you to the museum entrance and then the security guard has to let everyone know you are going in to use the bathroom. And then the bathroom is a flight of stairs down into...
Read moreThe service is shockingly bad. The waiter took my drink order and left for way too long. To be honest, I was about to leave when he finally brought my drink about 15 minutes later. I ordered a cappuccino but it was absolutely not a cappuccino, more like a latte. He didn’t even bring sugar and I had to get up looking for it. When I tried to order food, the waiter barely listened. He was already walking away from the table asking if it’s okay there are no mushrooms left. I didn’t even have a chance to respond because he was already gone. The waiters aren’t rude, but they are clearly understaffed. They are trying to work fast and hard but can barely keep up. Also the menu is way...
