After a week of delicious Mexican food, we were craving good Korean food. I saw the reviews from other Koreans saying this place was legit and I agree. There were a dozen other Koreans who came after us which is always a good sign.

Once the ban chan came out, I knew we’d have a great meal. The kimchi, radish kimchi, acorn jelly, fish cakes, sweetened crispy seaweed were excellent. They refilled ones we asked for.

The seolluntang had good flavor; rice cake soup was huge and the broth was even better than the seollungtang; the udon and soontofu soups were solid.

Our family enjoyed home style food...

Awful service. Took like 25 minutes to get my soup and the owner (manager?) didn’t give me my beer while I waited even after I asked twice. When I got the beer from another server, she didn’t open the bottle. I had to ask another server for a bottle opener. One customer came from downstairs and just grabbed a soju bottle, from the fridge, and cups because he was so tired of waiting. The bonchon was good/fresh with a decent variety. the Seolleongtang had a decent amount of meat (thin slices) but there wasn’t too much flavor to the broth. Price of the food was on par with lunch at a Korean...

Came here the very last night of my 1 week trip in Mexico City since I’ve been cravinggggg good Korean food. I went to a different Korean restaurant a couple nights before and it was NOT good. As soon as the side dishes came out, I knew the food was going to be good. I’m v picky with Korean food and this place did not disappoint. My husband who’s on a work trip here with a bunch of others from NY/Korea gets take out from this place all the time and they also love it. I ordered the spicy pork dish and it really hit the spot. I’ve also heard their soups are good too.

Sometimes the food is just so good it trumps all else. In this case, while the service and ambience were perfectly fine (though not particularly outstanding) it was, indeed, the food that was so good that we’re sure to return. Indeed, both our dumpling soup and the stone bowl bibimpap were outstanding and better, even, than some of the same dishes we have eaten while living in Korea. Meanwhile, our server was pleasant and efficient and we found our seating to be comfortable.

Seems like it's pretty worth to order the big hot pot cause I saw a lot of people doing so. We ordered a set of Korean BBQ ( costilla sin hueso) that cost us 550 which is a bit pricey, the portion isn't a lot but the meat are fresh and tasty. Will recommend to order the cold noodles with soup, pizza de marisco coreano, caldo de tofu. Sincerely recommend this place for Korean food lovers.
