A Delightful Breakfast Experience: A Gem of a Cafe
My recent visits to this charming cafe have left me thoroughly impressed. On both occasions, the inviting atmosphere and the enthusiastic staff immediately set the tone for a delightful dining experience. The well-curated playlist added an extra layer of enjoyment, perfectly complementing the morning ambiance.
Upon my request, the waitress graciously provided insightful recommendations, guiding me through the menu's favored dishes and suggesting ideal pairings. The freshly brewed coffee, served just as I prefer, added an extra kick to the already promising start.
The star of the show was undoubtedly the ratatouille omelet, a fusion of flavors that exquisitely blended the essence of traditional Mexican cuisine with a contemporary twist. Each bite was a burst of freshness, leaving a lasting impression.
I must highlight the cafe's commitment to serving piping hot, delicious dishes, as my meal arrived promptly and maintained its temperature until the last bite. Let's not forget the delectable freshly baked bread, a delightful accompaniment that added a comforting touch to the meal.
Overall, my experience at this cafe was nothing short of exceptional. The impeccable food, vibrant atmosphere, and the attentive, knowledgeable staff made my visits truly memorable. Without a doubt, I highly recommend this gem of a cafe to all breakfast enthusiasts and food...
Read moreCan't recommend this place. It seems to have a lot of potential as a money making machine but their anti-capitalist approach to business makes this a place I'll not return to. Many tours employ this as a meeting place in the mornings, so there's a steady deluge of tourists. You'd think they'd open up, serve food, and make a fortune. Instead they have a janky little take-out window with a very limited selection. There's no menu of available items so the barista (one!) repeats endlessly the items on offer. Prices are high. I paid too much for coffee. There's an OXXO across the street that has better coffee at less than half the price. Don't even ask to use the bathroom, even as a paying customer. One couple near me asked and were VERY rudely turned away. So many better options are available; choose...
Read moreThis place is a disappointment and feels like a tourist trap. It is a meeting point for people who go for organised day tours and logically they have their breakfast here. So did we. Although they open at 7:30, until 8:30, you're limited to eating outside with polystyrene takeaway dishes and plastic cutlery.
The food itself was decent—we tried the scrambled eggs and eggs with ratatouille—but the coffee was extremely disappointing and bland. The service was disinterested and unwelcoming, making it clear they didn’t want to be there.
The worst part was their treatment of an elderly lady who had purchased breakfast. They forced her to return to her table and search for her receipt before allowing her to use the restroom. It was shockingly inhumane.
Don't waste...
