Edit for owners response.........

My colleagues and I have been visiting your restaurant over the last few months, so it's relatively new for us. The common item that most people believe is the issue, is the guacamole with tomato salsa and nachos. Most illnesses have come after having this item.

I was delaying writing this review because I wasn't sure about my facts, but after many weeks, it's become clear that I and numerous colleagues of mine have become sick eating here. I travel to Mexico city often for business and have become extremely ill after eating here. After talking to my colleagues, who also travel and eat here, the majority have also become very sick. The atmosphere is great, the staff was very friendly, and food tasted amazing, but being ill for weeks after will keep us from...

This dining spot is ideal for solo travelers, featuring lovely benches by a charming water fountain. Fernando, the waiter, was exceptionally attentive, anticipating needs before they were even expressed.

The meal began with a mushroom soup that was more of a broth, containing sliced mushrooms and hearty cheese chunks. While tasty, the soup could have benefited from a stronger mushroom flavor, as the saltiness and overall broth flavor slightly overshadowed the mushrooms. However, it was still a satisfying starter.

The main course was steak medallions, accompanied by steamed vegetables and mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes differed from the creamy, butter-rich variety typically made at home, but they complemented the steak and its Demi glaze well. The vegetables, however, were overcooked to the point of losing their color, suggesting they might have been better suited as a puree added to the mushroom soup.

Overall, the meal was quite enjoyable, and there's interest in returning to try other menu items.

Might be a bit expensive but good basic Mexican food. Recommend the Patron Tacos: 3 tacos; soft tortilla, steak, cheese, vegetables, refried beans on the side. Nothing fancy; I might have called them small burritos. Chips and salsa for table. Outdoor seating pleasant on a nice day. Street vendors trying to sell their stuff, shoe shine too. Indoor seating available. Many just sit and have a drink. Plenty of service not much English spoken. English menu available. Valet parking kind of available. T.V. s everywhere, no volume. On a round about with traffic dodging each other. Traffic not excessive. Nice neighborhood with several other restaurants and...

This amazing place is everything you need when visiting : a great place to go when you land & have checked into your hotel then head to for TèKila, Victorias & Fantastic cuisine. The Oxacan Filet is my go to and is complemented with the smoothest creamiest mushroom sauce. It comes with french fries and salad but I prefer to sub the fries for an extra salad to balance out the decadence of the sauce. The José Filet is my other Rec as this goes more into a tomato Italian blend but both with a nice Mexican twist. The bartenders are kind and generous with their pours.

Terrible service. Menu is pretty touristy, not real authentic Mexican food. Our servers were busy hanging out with other employees eating on their break. Had to literally wave them over multiple times. Ordered ribeye tacos, steak was good but it was just pieces of steak in tortillas, kinda weird not having cheese, lettuce etc. Ordered a Tanqueray martini and got grey goose that I didn't drink. Had to argue with staff to have it removed from the check. Spoke to manager who was apologetic but even he thinks a martini is made with vodka.
