This was my second visit. I ordered a chipata de pierna and a jamaica. They call the sauce on the sandwich "salsa antigua." I live in Oaxaca and to me it tasted like a poor man's mole. The pierna was cooked perfectly. My jamaica looked like a malteada. Maybe they frothed it to make the glass look full because I asked for sin hielo. It tasted fine. Attentive service. I enjoyed the tlacoyo I ate on my first visit more, but both times the food was high quality.

Me dió mucho gusto descubrirlos.

Our 2nd visit here. We had scrambled eggs, one with ham, one with chorizo, both were great. Coffees were excellent. They come around with a selection of pastries/desserts and we picked an almond croissant and a slice of lemon blueberry loaf - fresh and delicious. All for MX$430. They have 3 outside tables under umbrellas plus shade from trees and it’s on a very pleasant street.

If I could rate this restaurant higher I would. We had visited the anthropology museum and after a walk through the park we decided dinner would be good. We stumbled across pan&anis. The serving staff were friendly and helpful in answering our questions about the menu. The food we ordered was tasty, fresh, and satisfying. The wine and desert we selected enhanced our meal. We dined street-side to enjoy the early evening. I suspect this day in our holiday here in Mexico City will be one we remember positively because of the meal we shared...

Excellent good in a cosy atmosphere and with great service Set in the lower floor of the Chef's house, this very discreet restaurant has great food with a local feel and is prepared by a great team under the supervision of Chef Gustavo who will often wander amongst the tables and engage in conversation with his guests. The prices are very reasonable, and there is both breakfast and lunch service. The only downside is there is no parking, so be patient and look around in the area or use your bike to.get...

I liked the food and the service was good but as I was paying the waitress distracted me in conversation and short changed me 200 pesos. When I went back to ask for the correct change she took it out of the place where she had stashed it and gave it back to me with no questions asked. This told me that it was very conscious on her part not giving me the correct change in the first place. As you can imagine this did not leave a good impression for me and as delicious as the pastries look I haven’t...
