i was strolling in mexico city, started to feel hungry and every place i stepped into seemed a bit too greasy to me. i looked up on google maps for a vegan restaurant, and vlunch was the closest, also well rated. i arrived there at 19:20, knowing they close at 20, hoping i could still eat seated. the very kind man greeted me, asked about my day and my taste, without mentioning a word about the closing time. he helped me to build my order (tofu burrito, the salad with the beetroots and a fresh orange, ginger oat juice) and everything was lickin finger delicious! so fresh and tasty, but also filling in a healthy way. what i was wishing for! and when i asked for spicy sauce, he gave me something called salsa macha, which is without a doubt the best sauce i had in mexico (even bought some 🤭) when i saw we're past 30, i mentioned the closing time, but he didn't rush me to leave. in fact, he and his dear partner, recommended me where do go and helped me to find the safest and cheapest way to the airport. it was way more than a dinner to me. thanks a lot for this wonderful experience 💕

Stopped here for a quick late lunch and quite enjoyed it! Everything tasted great - very well flavored and seasoned. I would definitely go back. Loved that the restaurant was 100% vegan and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The downstairs area was only serving snacks so we went upstairs to enjoy the menu of the day that included a beet salad, lentil soup, quinoa broccoli & a tofu scramble with various peppers and a plantain dessert. Oh and it included a tasty water of the day: strawberry. It was $100 pesos/person, we just sat down and they brought us each of the dishes, timed perfectly with when we were finishing the existing course.

I like to support vegan businesses but for me it was just a depressing experience - I entered hungry and excited, ordered immediately then waited 30 minutes for one food item (fries) to arrive and then another 30 minutes for the norteño torta I ordered to arrive. When it finally arrived it was cold, dry and disappointing. During this I wasn’t provided any water until I got up after 20 minutes and asked for some, receiving back some room temperature tap water. The drink I ordered was a kind of strawberry oat drink which sounded interesting but it was just a watery mixture with oats settled at the bottom.

Loved it! Nice music, the owner is super kind and friendly, and the food was very tasty and filling at a very reasonable price.

To drink, we had the horchata (which is a kind of rice and oats milk with cinnamon) and an oats & apple drink. Both tasty and nutritious. I'd rate the horchata over the apple drink if I had to.

I'm not at all a big fan of french fries but my friends ordered them, I may have stolen some, and they were really good! The spices (which I forgot to ask what they were, besides the oregano) added great flavor. I also put some of their incredible hot sauce (salsa macha?) on top, and that sealed the deal for me.

I ate the tofu burrito and added the humus and beans on the side (both really good). A friend added the guacamole, some of which I may have stolen too, and all I can say is: put them all in, add more hot sauce, lemon, and you are in for a treat!!

I kept stealing, this time a bite from a friend's Norteña sandwich. In terms of taste, I'd rate it over the burrito, but I wanted more nutrition from the legumes (tofu, humus and beans) so I stand by my original choice. 🤭

I knew I was going for a fast-food type of meal, so I can't complain, but I (and my arteries) would appreciate less oil in general. 😄

The physical space is small and could be nicer (seats and decoration), but all in all, we had an amazing experience. I'm grateful we had the chance to know this place. Would definitely go again....

Wow wow wow! 10 out of 10! From food to service! One of the best vegan places I’ve been.

We had the traditional Gringas, excellent! And the chorizo Gringas, I’m totally obsessed with! It came with avocado salad, basically a guacamole but not smashed. I have baby mouth for spices and I could eat it all!

We also had the guacamole and it was so tasty, with great azul corn totopos! We ate it because it was delicious but really the two gringas was way enough food!

The fruita Fresca were also so amazing, sooo refreshing, the mango was sweet and the red fruit was light and I could have that all day long!

Thank you to the friendly people working there, nice and helpful for choices! I wish to come back and try more items...
