Moy's burger — Restaurant in Mexico City

I have just returned home from my first (and last) visit to Moy's. Right after this, I'm ordering UberEats. : ( I'm sorry that the experience was what it was. I read the reviews on here, and since I live only 8 minutes walk away, in the same colonia (San Rafael ROCKS - maybe not this place though) - and LOVE hamburgers - I was excited to try it out. I arrived about 7:15pm and there were three tables drinking and eating. It's a very cool space with two separate dining areas and a very nice lady taking orders. It appeared to be a family place with Mom and Dad in the restaurant and the son, with the glasses, in the kitchen cooking. I ordered a beer and then a bacon cheeseburger and french fries. I asked the waitress for the burger with no mayonnaise, and confirmed that it was ordered with no mayonnaise two other times, as well as again, when she was leaving to give the order to the kitchen. Well, the fries arrived and were amazingly perfect! When the burger arrived, it had cheese and bacon on top and underneath a wonderful onion relish and under that, MAYONNAISE! I immediately alerted the nice waitress of the problem and she stared at the burger for a moment - almost in disbelief, then took it to the kitchen saying pardon me. When the burger returned, about 7 minutes later, it was exactly the same burger, with a new bun on the bottom (mayonnaise was still on the bottom of the burger) and new onion relish put on top. So, now I have a cheesburger with a little bit of mayo on the bottom, room temperature, with a new bottom bun. I quietly finished my beer and when she asked if all was OK, I just said yes and finished the fries and asked for the check. When you send something back, you are automatically made to feel like the bad guy, so I didn't want to send it back twice. When I paid (305 pesos), they didn't have 95 pesos change and asked me if I had 5 pesos...I said no. I also said that I would not be returning. I'm sad that this won't become a hang out place for me and my friends, but for me, yet another hamburger restaurant that cannot comprehend a SIMPLE order without mayo, is not one that I will ever return to - nor will I recommend to my #travellikeandy clients. I am waiting to see if the restaurant replies to this honest, and negative, experience...

If you want to eat chicken hair, here is the place to go. Ordered chicken wings. The sauces are good. However, look at my pics, chicken hairs.... On the chicken wing. Not only one hair but a lot if hairs! Really? It is absolutely disgusting!!! And they still charged me for it. Are you serious? Besides the bad service, super slow, no wifi etc. it is just bad. Good luck guys for you chicken hair wings, hope you don't need to call 911 for hospital after.

Excelente lugar para ir con amigos.

El día sábado visite el local y me sorprendió que a la hora, alrededor de las 15:00, estuviera vacío. Cuenta con mesas y bancas de madera corridas en ambos lados de la mesa, lo cual es algo incómodo pues no cuenta con ningún respaldo. Además el menú es físico y no cuenta con código QR, cosa común en plena época.

El servicio fue bueno por parte de los meseros, en cuanto a cordialidad y atención, pero era insuficiente el número de ellos rumbo hacia la noche cuando empezó a llegar más gente. En la misma línea, cuando cuestionas a la mesera respecto a los platillos y desconoce la información, te lo comunica pero no investiga y te deja con la duda, cosa ilógica.

Ahora, respecto a los alimentos, cuestan con una variedad aceptable de comida rápida, dónde destacan hamburguesas y alitas. Su descripción es correcta en el menú, aunque sus precios podrían parecer un poco arriba de lo esperado, sin embargo, tenían buen sazón. Tal vez como sugerencia sería el hecho de crear combos dónde incluyan bebida o papas con la hamburguesa.

Y respecto a las bebidas, ofrecen cerveza embotellada y de barril, aunque está última no estaba disponible cuando fui y si estaba anunciada afuera en un anuncio. Por poner un ejemplo, un caguamon de 1.2 litros XX ámbar cuesta $95, lo cual es un precio muy competitivo respecto a otros establecimientos cercanos y similares.

Finalmente el ambiente es bueno, música con un volumen moderado a alto y una atmósfera fresca con plantas y la cortina abierta que permite el flujo de aire, por lo que en climas de frío no dudo que necesite suéter.
