Panadería Brûlée — Restaurant in Mexico City

My girlfriend and I discovered this place on our second to last day in Mexico city. I only wish I had found it sooner!

We wandered up around 9:45 in the morning and they were just taking the croissants and pain au chocolat out of the oven they were simply sublime. Light, and airy, and fresh. I spent a month in Paris last summer and these were better than almost all the pastries I tried there.

Wow!!! This is a work of art, and that says a lot as I’m a croissant snob. I’ve had croissants all around Paris and am obsessed with this brilliant French creation. I forced my girlfriend to come back to Mexico City with my purely so we could eat here. Truly the best croissant I’ve ever had. Delicious coffee, and don’t even get me started on the cruffin.
