As others have already mentioned there hospitality is lacking.
We were in CDMX for a couple weeks and a friend recommended Roselle so thought we would give it a try.
Our first experience was very positive although they advertise their hours as opening at 2pm, that is far from the case. We arrived at 2 and they weren’t even set up. Still mopping the floor, prepping the food etc. We took a walk around the neighborhood and returned.
We were seated at the counter which was fine as the bartender Dash was fantastic and made our meal that much better.
The food was delicious! We had the Milanese, a delicious salad and a pasta all very tasty.
Our second experience was quite different. We invited a friend and again arrived at 2 since we didn’t have a reservation however, it really wasn’t necessary since only 2 other tables were sat within the hour.
The same deal as first time, not prepared at all.
The hostess gave us a lovely table and we ordered 3 cocktails and 2 different crostini however we only received one. We reminded our waitress and a while later the other arrived. Only 2 tables in the restaurant for at least an hour and a half so you kind of expect attentive service.
We ordered 2 burgers one to be shared and a salad. The burgers arrived and were delicious however no salad as our server was too busy applying her makeup in the open restaurant.
At this point we didn’t bother reminding her about the forgotten salad and after sharing the budino for dessert we asked for our bill.
We felt somewhat neglected at this point and even though we thought about staying for an after lunch drink we left.
Not a goodbye from anyone!
Attention Roselle: there are so many great places to eat in CDMX and may I suggest you pay more attention to your guests as you won’t be successful for much longer relying just on your food!
Again, Dash the bartender is the only one who made us feel welcome however that’s not enough to make us return or recommend your dining establishment.
Oh a word to the hostess! Diners can see you applying your mascara but perhaps...
Read moreMy husband and I had an horrible experience in Roselle we went to have dinner with friends and even though we had a reservation we still waited for half an hour to get a table. They make it look like an a more intimate place truth is that is a small area. When we got in, we asked our waiter to do separate checks, we ordered our food Peposo that ended up been beef stew (4 pieces of meat I counted them ) in a mashed potatoes base and Cotoletta di pollo that is chicken Milanese, that was terribly overcooked, flavorless and even though it had good size it was so hard to cut and swallow that my husband preferred to leave it in the plate. ☹️ Pizza and appetizers flavorless and nothing spectacular in the drinks menu. We were so disappointed !! not to mention that in the end of our dinner our waiter never separated our check from our friends so we had to do it by ourselves manually 😤 We ended up paying 200 dlls for all that! There are so many good restaurants to have chosen from in one of the best cities in the world to eat magnificently and we picked THE WORST! ☹️ So please do yourself a favor and DON’T GO to this “restaurant”, don’t trust all this new hype restaurants in Roma if you can’t cook a chicken Milanese why would you feel entitled to open a place? IT’S A TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT and...

Of course Influencers and Social Media have worked towards making this place sound spectacular, however it falls short in all aspects, specially when it comes to the service provided by it's staff.
Unfortunately both times I have a attended the place is overcrowded and understaffed, the hostess won't hesitate to sit you literally inside the kitchen on a couple of stools or place you in a tiny table next to the DJ booth where the Manager and it's friends will constantly pass behind you and push you without any remorse.
Food is not impressive (and expensive) as well and definitely not worthy of the mistreat you might receive in this place.
With so many options among Mexico City you can definitely skip...
