I had a mixed experience, way below the expectations set by the ratings and a friend’s recommendation. The menu has a variety of ramens (Singaporean, Taiwanese, Thai, Viet, Japanese, etc.) and a selection of bubble teas. I went for the vegetarian Biangbiang ramen. It had fresh ingredients and a nice combination of flavours. It also came with the option for konjac noodles (made from a root veg), a healthier and lower-calorie alternative to rice noodles, which tasted good.
Surprisingly, my ramen came without an egg which was in the description and I mentioned that when I ordered. When I asked the waiter, they tried to explain that a vegetarian dish should not have any animal product and the description needed to be adjusted - basically confusing vegan and vegetarian. He also proposed the egg as an extra. Another waiter came later, to apologise and courteously offer the egg - that was really appreciated. For the quality of the food, it’s a shame the restaurant has incompetent staff that doesn’t prepare dishes according to the description on the menu or understand the difference between vegan and vegetarian. Another disappointment was that bubble tea is served in plastic cups, no matter whether you have it there or want to take it away, which to me is poor taste besides being inconsiderate towards the health of people and the planet. I do urge the owners to get proper glasses as well as glass straws. Moreover, there weren’t any plant-based milk alternatives. There weren’t unsweetened options either. The place itself has an unpretentious though intriguing Asian façade. The seating area at the back is super cute and cosy with dim lights. Most seating (if not all) was tables for 2. Overall, I thought the place had potential though many improvements to make to get there. I would like to give it a second try if and when bubble tea is made with non-dairy milk and served in a proper glass.

I recently discovered Nudo Ramen, and I have to say—it’s an absolute gem for Asian noodle lovers in Mexico City! From the moment you walk in, the cozy and inviting ambiance sets the stage for an exceptional dining experience. The Laksa here is hands down the best I’ve had outside of Singapore. The broth is incredibly rich, aromatic, and packed with deep, authentic flavors that instantly transport you to Southeast Asia. The balance of coconut milk, spices, and just the right level of heat makes every spoonful irresistible. The noodles are perfectly cooked—chewy yet tender, soaking up all that flavorful broth beautifully. Beyond the Laksa, Nudo Ramen and Boba offers an impressive variety of ramen and other noodle dishes that showcase their commitment to high-quality ingredients and authentic preparation. Whether you’re a fan of classic noodles or looking for something with a unique fusion twist, there’s something here for everyone. The service is equally impressive. The staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about their food, always ready to offer great recommendations. It’s evident that a lot of thought and care go into every dish served. If you're in Mexico City and craving an outstanding bowl of noodles, Nudo Ramen and Boba is an absolute must-visit. The combination of top-tier flavors, quality ingredients, and excellent service makes it a standout in the city’s growing Asian food scene. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The newest hype in the bubble tea scene in CDMX, Nudo, was an organized mess to order but delivered decent service and matcha. Upon arrival, there was a significant line and wait outside the shop. Once we reached the counter, the staff were friendly and took the time to explain the drinks. We ordered a Matcha Cloud Milk and the Mango Cloud Milk. Most drinks, we were told, come standard with lactose-free milk. Prices were about average for other bubble teas in the area ($95 for our cloud matchas). The wait for our drinks was about 15 minutes. Nudo isn’t just a bubble tea shop—it also features a restaurant inside with ramen being their specialty. However, there seemed to be a lot of confusion where to make line for the bubble tea or for the restaurant. As for the drinks, I found the Matcha Cloud Mango to be the better one. It wasn’t overly sweet, making it refreshing and enjoyable (8/10). The regular Matcha Cloud Milk was solid but not particularly memorable (7/10). The menu had the basics of a bubble tea shop but felt a bit limited in variety. I’d consider returning to try other teas but would choose a less busy time of day. The crowds made the overall experience less than ideal, though the drinks were worth trying.
